Rory was lying on a couch, Vladdie on her stomach.

The former was channel surfing and eating candy.

The latter was rolling around on his back, batting at what appeared to be a whole lot of nothing in the air.

"Seriously. It would freak me out. That's all."

Rory pouted.

"Have a candy bar, Rory," Peter suggested.

He was feeling a little guilty at the pout, though. "Sorry about teasing you. It's just fun sometimes. You completely have permission to tease me about something whenever you want, okay?"

That was probably a mistake.

Rory had a Reese's Cup, just to be contrary.

"I just don't see how there's anything to tease about, gah," she said. "And I will soooo take you up on that. I probably would, anyway, but permission makes it a nice, clean transaction."

"Why do I get the impression that I may have just made a terrible mistake?" Peter asked being meta liek whoa.

"Because you have," Rory said simply.

"At least I have that advance warning of danger coming my way," Peter said meta-ly in a different way.

"Well, sort of. You don't know when I will strike. And with what," Rory pointed out. "I'm like a ninja that way."

"I've fought ninjas. Ninjas don't scare me," Peter said truthfully. Ninjas kind of terrified them. They kick hard.

"But they are stealthy," Rory said reasonably. "Like me."

"Flailiest ninja ever," Peter said, smiling.

"I am not flaily," Rory said. "I am graceful."

"Sure," Peter said, focusing on the wrapper to the Hershey's bar he was opening.

"I am!" Rory said indignantly. While flailing a bit.

"No, seriously, you're very graceful," Peter lied in his most honest voice. "Just teasing again. Please don't pout."

"Was I pouting? Because it wasn't intentional," Rory replied.

"No, but I'm pretty sure you were about to," Peter said for he is not a poutmodder. "Preemptive strike."

"I would never pout to get my way," Rory blatantly lied.

"Hey, we both know that cute girls pouting is an effective weapon against all males. Please don't pretend otherwise," Peter admonished.

"Too bad boys don't have a secret weapon like that. Well. Except boykissing," Rory said sadly.

"That doesn't count. Girls have girlkissing. They cancel each other out," Peter said.

"Boykissing is better," Rory said solemnly.

"I'd have to disagree on that point," Peter said. "For example, Xander kissing me? Not that interesting. Angela and Parker kissing Jaye? Everyone could appreciate that."

"And sadly, I am going to have to argue that Angel and Alex the other night was very pretty. And Hamlet and Archie. And really, all the boykissing. So pretty," Rory disagreed.

"Hey, even you and Molly kissing was kind of hot and that was about as innocent as you can get. Well, innocent if you don't count the fact that Anakin's head was in your lap," Peter joked.

"It wasn't dirty! Not my fault he passed out there!" Rory said. Quite possibly too defensively, actually.
