The Gym, Monday Morning

Isabel had been eating entirely too many doughnuts lately. So when she heard Xander leave for class she decided to head to the gym. She's on the elliptical trainer, moving at a pretty good pace, but definitely willing to say hi.

She shrugged, stepping back and shaking out her hands. "Not particularly. It seems like most of the good guys are already taken."

Cameron frowned and tried to come up with one example. It took a moment before he finally said. "Bridge?"

"Bridge?" Isabel repeated. "I don't know, he's sweet, but there's no spark." She shrugged, "It's really not that big a deal."

"Yeah, but doing homework seems wrong. Maybe the people who don't have dates can throw a party and have fun?" He suggested.

"I don't know about tomorrow, but I know several of us are planning on mocking the happy couples at the dance on Friday." She grinned, "So I suppose I'm just postponing my fun."

"Nah, it'll be fine. Besides, we're really all just jealous." She might have winked, or it might have just been a twitch. "I guess I should go get cleaned up. I have some errands to run before class."

"Not at all. I've made them so many times I could probably make them in my sleep." She grinned, "I'll make them after class this afternoon. You can come by and pick them up this evening before the party. Is that okay?"

"Jack Harkness's 18th birthday party. It's tonight at the hotel. Considering that CJ appears to be celebrating every birthday from his 1st through his eighteenth, it looks like it's going to be one hell of a party."

She shrugged, "Actually it was pretty tame considering how the evening progressed. Now Angela and Jaye or Jaye and Parker, I can see how a guy might find that interesting."
