The Gym, Monday Morning

Isabel had been eating entirely too many doughnuts lately. So when she heard Xander leave for class she decided to head to the gym. She's on the elliptical trainer, moving at a pretty good pace, but definitely willing to say hi.

"Morning," Elizabeth smiled as she entered the gym. The weather outside was frightful not the most inviting, so she figured that she'd return to the gym for the first time in ages.

"Elizabeth! Good morning!" Isabel pushed her hair back and slowed her pace just a little. "How have you been? I don't think I've seen you in forever."

Elizabeth laughed. "I'm getting that a lot," she grinned. Damn jetlag "I've been doing my normal thing of over-working. But I'm doing good. How about you?"

"Keeping busy. We ran our first game night Saturday night." She grinned, "It turned out really well."

"Ooh, yes. I was planning on coming," Elizabeth grinned sheepishly. "Is it going to be a regular thing, do you think?"

Cameron headed into the gym. It's kinda weird when there's someone there already and it isn't Aeryn.

"Yo," he greeted and seemed to try to make up his mind of where to go. Punching bag it was.

"Hey! How do you feel?" she asked as she watched him go to the punching bag. Looking at the clock, she figured she'd spend another few minutes on the trainer and then go join him to get some practice in before Thursday's lesson.

"Not hung over," Cameron replied and rolled his shoulder for a moment before putting on gloves.

"That's good. Can I join you when I finish up here?"

"Knock yourself out," he said.

"Morning, Cam. How you doing today?" Elizabeth called.

"Okay, you?" Cameron asked.

"Still a bit tired, but other than that, I'm good."

"Good," Cameron nodded. He didn't seem very talkative.

Aeryn's not expecting to stay long because working is dumb, yeek, but she's got time for a quick workout before she has to do anything. She goes straight for one of the machines with a hello nod at the- wow, others- people already there.

Cameron nodded back, not stopping hitting the bag.

"Are you cleared to be doing that?" asks Aeryn, who really shouldn't be saying anything about that sort of thing.

"Dunno," Cameron shrugged and proved it by getting a harder hit in with his left. Which admittedly wasn't that impressive.

"All right, let me put it this way," she says. "Are you okay to be doing that?"

Isabel nodded and smiled but didn't let go. She had learned her lesson in a scary accident on a Nordic track.

Aeryn smiles back and lets her do her thing, because clinic visits are bad.

"Hey, Aeryn," Elizabeth called, not looking round as she increased the speed on the machine.

"Hey," Aeryn says back. "The gym is full of focused people today." It's really kind of amusing.

"I have been slacking. That's my excuse. Can't speak for any of the others," Elizabeth laughed.

Aeryn almost-smiles at that. "I haven't seen you for a while," says Aeryn. Who really hasn't been in her room to see anyone, actually.
