"Hi Cally!" Said Pippi, "We hardly met. I have a birthday gift for you!."

She holds out a bulky bundle of silvery paper (http://www.daggis.de/html/saddlebags_0.html). "They're for you to use on your bike when you're done with it... Seemed better then a raccoon tail."

Cally takes the bundle, biting her lower lip a little with the embarassment. "You really didn't have to, you know." She unwraps the package, and smiles. "Oooh, storage. One less thing to add in the repair, awesome."

"Why do people keep saying that?" Pippi asks mostly herself when Cally says she didn't have to.

"I knew you'd like it." said Pippi, "It looked like there was some kind of compartment under the seat, but I figured you might need that space for..." she waved her hand, "Extras."

"Why do people keep saying what?" Cally scratches the back of her head.

"People keep saying 'You don't have to do that.'" Pippi answered, "Greg said it all the time."

She shrugged,

"It's just weird."

"Oh. It's just I didn't really think anyone needed to bother with getting me gifts. But, thanks a lot." Cally smiles, then tilts her head. "Who's Greg?"

It's Pippi's favorite game! "Who knew his name was Greg?"

"Greg, you know. Dr. House." she said.

"Anyway. You're welcome. I hope they're big enough."

"They should be fine. I owe you one for the whole helping Anders thing, though." Cally nods. "I heard you kinda, like, threw heavy objects around."

"Oh that's no problem. It was fun! Well... Up to a point... Aw who am I kidding. The whole thing was fun!"

She thinks for a moment, "I don't know about me being the one who threw heavy objects around, what I threw around didn't seem heavy to me... But we were thrown around in a heavy object."

"Well, as far as I can tell, a lot of things don't seem heavy to you," Cally says. "You're like, the world's strongest girl or something."

"That's what people say back home." she nodded, "I don't know if that holds true here. I am quite strong though."

"Well, Molly is really strong too, actually. But you two are definitely the strongest people I've ever seen. Physically, I mean." Cally nods.

"Thanks." she said with a grin. "We're in Fight Club together, that should be a lot of fun."

She looked around.

"So... What do you do here?"

"We fix things and build things." Cally smiles. "We're good at it, too."

"What kinda things?" she asked with a slow sly smile.

"Anything with moving parts. And stuff that has moving parts that aren't moving anymore." Cally tilts her head a little. "You have something that needs fixing? Or possibly building?"

"Building." she says. "I have this boat. It's just a little one. I want to fix it up and make it nice... I want to keep it simple, but with the way things go here in Fandom... I think upgrades are in order."

"Well, we've never built anything sea-worthy, as far as I know," Cally says. "But I think we're always up for a challenge, right Bridge?"

"Absolutely!" Bridge gives Pippi a thumbs-up.

"Wonderful!" she said clapping her hands like girls do in old books when they're happy.

"So... where's the boat?" Cally asks.

"It's tied up at the dock right now. The boat itself if quite sea-worthy already, so you don't have to worry about that, I just need to fit it with a mast and a sail. It's a longboat from The Treasure Oscar. I think I'd like to add some kind of cold food storage and possibly something else for heating it up; and also some surprises to roll out if there's ever any ~~ships or costal towns to pillage~~ trouble."

"We don't do weapons," Cally says, rubbing the back of her neck. "In case that's what you mean by surprises."

"Can you do a small detachable motor that can go really fast?"

"That? Easy." Cally nods. "And it might even, say, make lemonade."
