Anders wanders down the hall after the hockey coverage ends, just to prove he can actually pry himself away from sports broadcasts. Besides, he sort of hasn't been around much for official business hours lately.
Bridge blinks. "...kill someone? Or, okay, do anything really mean. And I don't mean like, harmless practical-joke-stuff, I'm talking really mean hurtful things. 'Cause that's not cool."
Anders blinks too. "Okay, I didn't mean like that kind of anything. Except that 'anything' sort of means, well, anything, and, um. Okay. Bad choice of words." He waves his hands around in the air, a vague sort of erasing gesture.
"Starting over. Like, would you accept rent in the form of cupcakes?"
Anders starts playing with a little coily bit of wire that got tangled up in his hair somehow. "Like, how many cupcakes? And would this be, like, a flat rate or would it have something to do with the amount of space?"
"Well technically my birthday was missed, but I didn't have a party and I'm not a girl, so you are probably looking for Cally." Bridge points to the girl in question.
"Bridge!" Blair bounced and looked around. "So I was coming to check on the sunlamp thing for Hank. That one you left to go make plans for on the night of Logan's party?" Blair held up Hank, which was just a pot of dirt dressed in a small pink sweater.
"Oh!" Bridge said. "Right! Um, it's around here somewhere..." he rummages around until he comes up with the object in question. "Um, this is the on/off switch obviously, cause it's labelled, and this is the, uh," he points to a kind of glowy green button. "I'm not sure what it does, actually."
Blair flicked the on/off switch, because seriously...who wouldn't. "Whoa. Bright!" Turning it back off he looked at the other button. "Really? Should I just avoid it or should we test it out?"
"Absolutely," he hands her a box with the electronic lock inside it. "Okay, operation's pretty simple. You choose a three-digit code. That's yours, and yours only. Anyone tries to input the wrong code, or someone who *isn't* you tries to put in yours? They'll get sent to a random location on school grounds. If you want other people to have access to your room, you can assign them codes of their own. Oh, and pressing 616 will get you... peanut butter cups, actually."
Parker grins. "Peanut butter cups? Awesome. Also, the personal transportation of break-in artists? Terrific. Thank you, Bridge." She thinks about it a minute, then decides on the code. "I just put it in, after it's on the door?"
