4th Floor Common Room: Wednesday Night

Blair was tired and broke and not really sure what to do about his dating problem. He needed advice and a place to listen to it. Therefore he's taking over the common room and setting up a support group.

Support group consisting of two. Because he had drug Broots out of the room to talk as well. He was older and must have some advice to give him.

Broots pouted and curled up in a chair. "Why are you asking me? That wall over there is more helpful."

"Come on, Broots! We can at least pull our data! Tell me about your date knowledge!"

"Restaurant, flowers, dressed nicely, good. Flying tomatoes, fire, computer babble, bad." Broots kind of glared. "Spilled punch, bad. Offering to pay for cleaning, good."

Blair blinked and ran back into his room for a large sheet of paper. He started writing down Broots info.

"Okay, I can add presents, tools, chocolate, people watching to the good side and dating mulitple girls at the same time to the bad side."

Broots blinked. "Your plant doesn't count."

Blair blinked back. "What do you mean?"

"Dating multiple girls at the same time? Your plant does not count as a date. Nor does my laptop." Broots may have been wistful at that last comment.

Ivanova somehow realising that other people were hopeless limped into the common room, looking, in a word, emo.

"STELLLAAAAA!" Blair grinned and waved her over. "Come sit and commiserate with us!"

She smiled a little weakly and limped over to him, collapsing onto the couch. She looked like she hadn't actually bothered to get fully dressed that day, in her rattiest and most comfortable jeans and baggiest t-shirt. "Hey, Blair and guy in driver's ed."

"We're trying to figure out dating, anything to add to our list of good and bad ideas?"

"Broots. But I also go by 'Tech guy', 'TA dude', and 'Not Gremlin."

"Ivanova," she introduced herself succinctly, then answered Blair's question. "And how about putting the entire idea of dating in the 'bad' column?" Bitter? Her? Never.

Blair wrote it on there before acknowledging her words. "No, Ivanova! This is to help us date better!" He crossed it out and put his hands on his hip. "So good or bad ideas!"

Ivanova sighed, dropping her head back against the couch. "Hmm . . . going crazy and suddenly becoming everything your date hates? Bad. Turning into a racist human supremist? Bad. Dying? Bad. Flowers? Good."

Pip passed by the room lighting a cigarette. He stopped and peaked in. "I sense great pain and anguish," he said. "As if a great deal of emo were being collected here. What's up?"

"Pip! You're french! Come talk to us about dating!"

Pip pushed the stereotype to the side for a moment. He raised an eyebrow. "Ooookay. I thought you had the dating thing down? Like, you and Nadia?"

Blair sighed and twirled his pen in his hand. "That's sorta...well it didn't go so well last night."

Pip's eyebrow appeared to raise even further, despite the obvious impossibillity of this. "Define 'not well'."

"She left before dessert and said I need to figure out what I want."

Walter wandered by to avoid the convocation of girls and pets that had invaded his common room. When he saw Blair, he thought he'd come in and be friendly, since he still felt just a hair guilty about the jelly incident.

"Add learning about his/her interests in the good column. And 'taking a couple of days away to think' without asking in the bad column."

"Learning interests is good!" Blair wrote it down and smiled a little.
