Beautification Committee Meeting

Bel made himself comfortable in the Fourth Floor Common Room and waited for his evil minions fellow members of the SBC to arrive so they could plot mayhem figure out what their first project would be.

Pip signs in. If he looks more devious and piritanical than the eye-patch normally makes him, well, that's just coincidence.

Anders signs in, not looking particularly excited to be here.

Funny how Archie signs in right after Anders, really.

"Er, I kinda missed the first meeting we had. Is there anything I need to be filled in on?"

Huzzah!

"Beautiful." Alphonse arched a brow. "Well, I guess there's always room for improvement."

"We've been talking about it, and a lot of us think we should do an upgrade on all the common rooms. I mean, the second floor common room got an upgrade, something about an explosion, I think, why not all the others?"

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

"I agree. We need proper wood floors in the kitchenettes."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
Anders glances over at the kitchen area. "Maybe, like, bulletproof coatings on everything. 'cause some of us are dangerous in the kitchen, but we still gotta eat. I'm just afraid of making the stove blow up."

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
"I was reading about these things called 'Induction Stoves'? Maaaybe we should look into those... For safety." she says giving Anders a sideways glance and remembering the time Tommy and Annika almost burned down Villa Villekulla trying to make rolls.

"Are they any good?"

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
"Maybe? I have no idea." Anders fidgets uneasily. "I could probably manage to make a disaster out of cooking with one anyway. Might be worth looking into, though. 'cause, like, if it doesn't involve fire? That's a start."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] cyclopeanmerc.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
"That's exactly what I was thinking, actually," Pip said. "Maybe give people a reason to visit each floor specifically?"

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
"Kitties! Maybe we can host some sort of vote with each of the floors for what they want?" Alphonse suggested. "I wouldn't want us to rearrange and entire floor and the residents of it not like it."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] actingltcrumpet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
"I like Bel's idea about a schoolwide-themed stained glass window on the first floor," Archie commented. "Even if I am blissfully unaware of the whole necro-tempered glass issue and his plans to conveniently omit that detail. We do all have to get in and out through the lobby, after all, so even if each floor is themed to suit its particular residents, the lobby should perhaps be a bit more inclusive of all."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] strongestgirl.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Pirates! Perhaps we should tie it in with your idea with the stained glass and make a different time or place for each floor?"

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] cyclopeanmerc.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
"I think we should come up with a list for them to vote on. That way we combine democracy with the power trip of forcing them to pick what we want to pick."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] actingltcrumpet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah," Archie drawled in amusement, "the tyranny of multiple choice. I like that."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah." Anders nodded. "Just without the explosions first, 'cause that woke me up." He tried his best to not shoot a guilty look at Edward and Alphonse as he said it.

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Alphonse also tried to not look guilty. "No explosions. I can assure you it won't happen."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
"The explosions could always be when people aren't asleep," Edward offered helpfully.

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
Alphonse facepalmed. "We're not risking that again!" he hissed quietly at Edward.

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, not that particular one, no..."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm not going to destroy anything for kicks."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Edward shrugged. "I'm not saying blowing things up for shits and giggles, anyway."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
"And how could detonating things be used productively?"

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm sure there are ways. I'll let you know as soon as I find out."

Re: What should our first priority be for projects?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
"Whatever works for you," Alphonse muttered. "I somehow get the feeling you just want to blow stuff up."
