2nd Floor Common Room - Saturday Morning

Logan sat on the couch eating Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs and watching cartoons. Multiple boxes of different sugar-coated cereal were on the kitchen counter and there was milk in the fridge, if anyone wanted to join him.

"Hey, Cally," Veronica said with a smile.

It's entirely possible she moved just a little closer to Logan at Cally's arrival, remembering her comments on the radio last night.

"Hey Veronica," Cally waves from where she has sat down. "How're you?"

"Not too bad, I guess," she replies. "You?"

Cally rubs her eyes and yawns. "Kinda sleepy, but other than that, doin' pretty good, actually. Classes okay, stuff with Anders has never been better, just kinda happy, you know?"

"Well that's good," Veronica says. "I take it you're not one of the people that has touched my boyfriend, zomg! randomly developed some weird ability?"

Cally shrugs. "Nope, guess I get to be one of the lucky folks who remains perfectly normal. You got something, right? It wasn't exactly clear on the radio."

Veronica might blush a tiny bit. "Um, yeah, apparently I can randomly turn water into Nyquil," she explains. "But it doesn't happen all the time."

"Well, if I get a cold, I know who to go to for my fix," Cally says. "So, are you and Logan, like, a couple now?"

"Yes," she replies with a smile.

"Awesome," Cally says nodding. "So many people seem to have broken up recently, it's nice to know some folks got together."

Veronica nods as well. "And you and Anders are still together, which is excellent," she points out.

"Gosh, he'd have to, like, sleep with Kara for us to break up. Which so isn't happening," Cally laughs. "Lee'd kill him, and he knows it. And then I'd kill him more, so he knows to behave himself." Cally nods.

"Boyfriends who know how to behave themselves are good things," Veronica agrees with a smile. There may or may not be a pointed look in Logan's direction due to that earlier conversation with Angel.

"Yep. His lesson is learned. Especially after I shoved cake in his face," Cally nods.

"What did he do to deserve cake in the face?" Veronica asks, glancing in Anders direction.

Cally moves closer and lowers her voice. "Okay, you gotta promise not to tell anyone, if you want the whole story."

Veronica slides closer to Cally and puts her hand up. "Scouts Honor," she says, matching Cally's tone.

Cally looks around quickly for eavesdropping shrubs, and then speaks. "Erm, there was kinda a... Kara and Anders thing. Like, kissing involved thing."

"Oh... wow," Veronica says, eyes wide. "I take it this is while you guys were together?"

"Yeah this was, like, right before Kara hurt her knee. And I mean, like, right before. Anders said they only kissed the once, and I trust him and all, but... he got really worked up afterwards. I mean, I was hurt, and stuff, but him and Kara, after that... it got messy for a while, and it was hard to accept the fact he wasn't interested in her when they kept, like, going at it like they would. I eventually got so fed up with it that, I, umm... I shoved cake in his face at Parker's birthday party." Cally scratches the back of her neck.

"Well good for you," Veronica says. "I mean, I can understand being caught in a moment and doing something rash," she continues, thinking of the fact that the first two times she kissed Logan were when she was still dating Leo, "but if he really loves you, he shouldn't do something that makes you uncomfortable."

"But now we've figured things out, and he only gets to kiss Kara if I get to too," Cally giggles. "So, no longer that big of a deal."

Veronica giggles too. "Well, I'd say that's a fair deal."

"I thought so," Cally says. "He did too, actually." Cally grins. "Boys will be boys, I guess"
