The gym, Saturday afternoon

It's easier to think and hit things than it is to think and sit there and make yourself more upset. At least this way you're doing something about it instead of turning it into something to whine about. So Aeryn's in the gym again, pounding away on the punching bag again.

The poor punching bag never really stood a chance.

"You're too short to be this fast," Cameron whined as he caught up with Molly. "And I am in his classes."

Molly stopped running once they were out in the hallway. She shook her head at him. "So sad to be so old and decrepit at such a young age," she mocked

"Hey!" Cameron protested and flexed an arm. "I work for this body, it's anything but old and decrepit!"

"You get outrun by a little girl, maybe you should work harder," Molly teased.

"I totally let you win," Cameron huffed.

"Oh sure, you say that now," she said with a mildly dismissive wave as she turned to walk down the hallway.

"Okay, fine." He followed Molly. "You get up tomorrow and we'll go running and we'll see who holds out longest."

Molly's superior attitude fell away completely as she turned around to look at Cam. "No!" she whined. "You wouldn't make me do that, would you? That would mean that I'd have to wake up early!" she pouted.

"Waking up early is fun and technically I should be at work in the afternoon," Cameron tried not to fall for the pout, which was hard.

Molly's shoulders slumped. "Ca-am. Waking up early is not fun," she whined again. She closed her eyes and sighed. "What time do I have to get up to do this," she asked dejectedly.

"Well normally I get up at 6:00," he grinned. It'd been a while since he got up that early actually. Breaking up apparently wore him out. "How about 8:00?"

Molly's eye opened wide in shock when he said 6:00. She breathed a huge sigh of relief when he said 8:00. "I think I can do 8:00. Don't expect me to be cheerful though."
