Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Night

It's a very quiet Saturday night in the dorms, and with half the students off on some spring break trip or other Anders figures that now's as good a time as any to hijack commandeer use his own floor's common room for a second attempt at cupcake-baking.

He's got his mixer and all his baking gear, plus the fire extinguisher Sam Carter gave him for Christmas, and is currently standing on his head in the middle of the kitchen area, an upside-down box of cupcake mix in front of him so he can read the directions. The TV is on in the background, tuned to the Stanford-Arizona NCAA women's basketball game.

Molly finally discovered that, aside from herself, Furball and Old Man, the 5th floor is completely empty. Now, this isn't that hard considering how few people live there, but it makes the floor feel very empty.

So, it is even easier for her to decide to head down a few floors to see who else is around.

"Hey, guys. What are you playing?"

"Hat-Girl!" Bridge bounces. "Lightball!"

Molly gave him a quizzical look. "Lightball?"

"Yep!" Bridge grins. "Um, grab one of those gloves over there..." he points to the couch. "I think Anders wants the game to start soon," he says. "It's really not that complicated. The ball is an energy-ball, and the object is to catch it. The hard part is that the ball kinda moves on its own, though."

Molly picked up a glove and grinned. "Sounds like fun. I'll try to keep up." She pulled the glove on.

Bridge hits the on switch, and a ball of light appears in mid-air, hovering for a second before zooming off towards the wall.

Bridge, unfortunately, does not react in time, and the ball bounces off his forearm and heads towards Molly.

Molly 'eeped' as it came toward her. She missed with the glove and the ball bounced off her shoulder. It hit the ceiling and bounced straight down to the floor before heading back toward Anders.

Bridge makes a dive for the ball and actually manages to catch it this time, and then sends it flying back towards Anders.

Molly watched the ball carefully as it hit the wall and caught it off the ricochet. "Yay!" she said before tossing it in Bridge's direction. "Head's up, Bridge!"

The ball bounces off Bridge's head.

And heads for the cupcakes.

Ooops.

Bridge squeaks as the ball heads towards him, throwing his hands in front of his face defensively... somehow managing to catch the ball, which he then hurls towards Molly.

Molly, who had been watching Anders recover from his great save, ducked and covered her head when she realized it was coming her way. The lightball hit the wall behind her and headed back to Anders.
