Fifth floor - Monday afternoon

Current residents of the fifth floor dorms: One girl. One cat. One horse. Possibly several plants, but they can't play so we're not counting them for now.

So, what do one girl, one cat and one horse do when they have an entire floor to themselves? They (well, the girl) turn up the music really loud and they play in the hallway.

They started out with a version of kickball which mostly involved Molly and Old Man kicking a ball back and forth down the hallway while Furrball chased or, more often, got run over by the ball.

Eventually though, Old Man had gotten tired of that and wandered off to do whatever it is that a horse who can open doors for himself is want to do. So now Molly was running up and down the hallway with a sock tied to a piece of string while Furrball chased after it.

[[OOC: Open to anybody. The music is really loud. Probably obnoxiously so. Come ask her to turn it down if you want. :) ]]

Long before anyone actually appeared on the fifth floor, voices could be heard drifting up and out...
What do you mean there's more than one holiday? Can't your people make up their minds?!

They aren't all my people, D.

You know what I mean! And why is there music playing on an empty floor?

Since when do I have to know everything?

Because you're Alex. That's what Alexes do...
...well, could have been heard if the music weren't quiet so loud, as it was, D'anna and Kryeck emerged from the stairwell a few moments latter.

Krycek wrinkled his nose slightly as they came down the hall. "Really, ew. Is it hungry and just not very bright?"

D'anna raised an eye brow at the riffraffy, but oddly cute animal in the girl's arms, "and that's why I want a dog." Turning her gaze to the girl, she smiled and held out a hand. "Hi, I'm D'anna. You're one of the new students, then?"

Krycek snickered at D's assertion, nodding. "I've got Jake, which is almost too much like having a pet, sometimes." He smiled at Molly, looking somewhat sheepish for a moment. "I was sick for a while. But I got better. Anyway-- D'anna, this is Molly. Molly, this is D'anna. She was gone for a while over the winter break, but she started out the school year here." He nodded at the blond, indicating who he was speaking of.

"Nice to meet you Molly! So who's got the stereo up loud enough to wake the Twelve Lords?" D'anna asked loudly over the music.

"Really?" Krycek looked up and down the hall - which, admittedly, felt empty and uninhabited. "I didn't even know people lived up this high that weren't in the attics."

"And they've left you up here all by yourself? Isn't it kinda lonely?" D wrinkled her nose a bit then shrugged, "we were... ummmm, hunting down some non-cafeteria lunch. Wanna come with?"

[identity profile] krycek-rat.livejournal.com 2006-03-07 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Krycek grinned, shrugging a bit. "No ideas yet, just 'not the cafeteria'. And I needed something more substantial than trail mix," he said, giving D a teasing look.

"Hey, it's not my fault you ate all the bacon last time!" To be fair, she really did need to hit up the grocery store soon. "I'm thinking some place in town. I'm craving those... what do you call them? You know," ignoring Krycek's amusement D looked to Molly for help, "those potatoy things that people dip in tomato sauce? Sometimes two at a time?"

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2006-03-07 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
"YES! Those! Exactly! French Fries!" D'anna smiled, triumphant.

"Please excuse D," Krycek told Molly. "She's a little bit foreign and they don't have things like holidays or good food where she comes from." He then gave D an innocent smile. "So let's go to Luke's, if you're in the mood for fries. Shall we?"

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2006-03-07 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
"We do so have holidays and good food!" D'anna pursed her lips as she tried to scowl at his mock innocence, and failed, "but yes, let's." She'd get him back, eventually.

"Come on then, kid," D'anna smiled. "I promise Alex doesn't gnaw on the bones any more, at least not in public (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/680311.html)."
