"It shouldn't," Bridge says. "At least, no one's ever said as much to me." He takes off a glove and waves a hand in Angela's direction to make her aura visible.

He studies it for a few seconds before slipping the glove back on. "There's definitely *some* sort of psychic ability, there. It's not that strong, but it would explain why you can pick up on a ghost's energy."

Angela let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. "Some psychic ability. Okay, I can deal with that. Thanks."

She smiled speculatively. "Maybe I should start playing the lottery."

"There's a handbook I haven't read?" Angela said in mock dismay. "I'm already behind."

A serious look crossed her face. "But you know how you're kind of getting stronger and moving things with your mind, now? Do you think I could do that, maybe, if I worked at it?"
