"Tuesdays at Nine? Then we'd be up against that Lightning Bug series and Crime and Justice. Obviously we're a show that the network has no faith in," Marty said with a laugh.

Marty quickly tilted his head so he could steal a kiss. "And then we can do one of the Barbara Walter's Specials where we sit there and hold hands the entire time to show how strong our relationship is under public scrutiny."

"And then we can go to the Emmys together," Angela said. "My dress would be --" she frowened. "Black velvet, I guess? With sleeves, I get too cold if it's sleeveless. And an empire waistline. But not long, just to past my knees."

"I think you would look beautiful in that," Marty said as he brushed some hair behind her ear. "Especially the tiara. I'd probably be wearing a black suit of course."

Marty frowns momentarily. "Do you think I need to change my look? I've had more people comment on how much black I've worn lately than ever?"

Marty suddenly found himself getting fairly snuggly with Angela. "I don't know. I usually feel pretty relaxed when I'm around you. Maybe I'll try going without the suits for a week. See how it feels. Lord knows I could use a break from the dry cleaning bills."
