Second Floor Common Room: Evening

Sure it's a Friday Night. Sure it's St. Patty's day.

Marty has higher priorities than that. He's got pizza. He's got soda.

And most importantly, he's sitting in front of the TV watching "Mr. What" on SciFi.

Jaye, looking a little confused because she seems to have taken a different route into the common room today, plops herself into a chair.

Marty waves. "Hi Jaye. Loved your broadcast the other night. Why did you make the animals talk?"

Funny how Cameron happens to sit down beside Jaye. "Yo."

It was Friday night, but Nadia didn't have any classes on Fridays, so last night might as well have been her Friday night. It was St. Patrick's Day, but, well, Nadia didn't care. So she was wandering around the dorms, lookng for something interesting to do.

"Hey Marty, what're you watching?" she repeated

"Mr. What. It's a science fiction show from England," Marty replied with a sense of deja vu. "Want some pizza?"

"Hey, Nadia. You ready for tomorrow?" Parker waved to her as she snagged some of Sam's popcorn and sat down.

Cameron enters. He's still in pants and grumbles a 'yo' at Marty.

Marty frowns. "Cam? Look I'm sorry about the... uh... thing the other week. I didn't know what was going on and I should have trusted you."

Bridge wanders in to the Common Room.

"Hey, dude!" he says, finding a comfortable spot on one of the couches. "Oooh, old Scifi shows. Those are fun."

"I know. I'm a big fan. I haven't seen this one in a while though," Marty says with a little bounce.

"Hello Bridge Carson," John says, waving. "Good radio broadcast last night."

Anders pokes his head into the common room and heads straight for Bridge.

"Bridge. Best bud. Hi," he says, leaning over the back of the couch next to Bridge and smirking as he drops a bag of cupcakes into Bridge's lap.

Sam came into the room carrying a bowl of popcorn and some tea with honey for her throat. She spotted Marty and Nadia. "Are we blowing things up tonight? Because these aren't really my blowing things up clothes, so I'd have to change."

"Nope. No blowing things up tonight," Marty said with a little sense of deja vu again. "They're showing episodes of Mr. What on the Sci Fi Channel tonight. I haven't seen the show in a while and I was looking forward to it."

Pip happened to wander by at just the right moment to hear this comment.

"I heard something about blowing stuff up. Who's blowing what up and how can I get involve?" he said, poking his head into the room.

John is out of the leather pants, thankfully, so he comes into the common room with a smile.

"Hello Fellow School Chums!"

Sam waved over at John. "Time traveling phone booth show. You in?"

Parker wanders in looking tired but happy. "Have costume. Have sent Zero off on date. Time to relax. Hunh. Mr. What. Cool."

She sat down and snagged some of Sam's popcorn as she got comfortable.

"Hey Parker. You look tired. Just get back from a long day of kissing Jarod?" Marty snarked.

Aeryn doesn't avoid the common room for once, but stands off to the side a little, frowning at the TV.

John's actually a little surprised to see her there. So, he waves and lets her decide if she's coming all the way in our not.

Lana comes in carrying something in a paper bag. She goes quietly up to Marty and hands it to him. "Angel asked me to return this to you where Janet wouldn't see."

"Oh! Thanks Lana," Marty said taking the bag. "Is it what I loaned him the other day?"

Angela comes into the common room and plops down next to Marty, head in his lap. "Everyone's in here," she notes.

"We're watching Mr. What," Marty said poking her nose gently with his index finger. "It's a moment all the second floor can enjoy."

Rory wandered in and flopped onto a couch.

"Happy St. Patrick's Day! Erin Go Bragh! Kiss Me, I'm Irish! And so on."

"Erin Go Bragh," Angela repeats. "And Pogue Machone. An Cat Dubh." She frowned. "I just ran out of Gaelic."
