Second floor common room

Jake woke up, made coffee, carefully poured coffee into his thermo cup, gathered together all his painting gear and wandered into the common room. He put things up and in place and then picked up his cellphone to leave Jaye a voicemail. That done, he carefully put his cup aside and went down on his knees to attempt to un-plastify the couch. Damn duct-tape!

After ACJ, Jaye heads down to the cool floor common room. "You rang?" she says.

"I did," Jake agreed and sat back on his heels. "Got time for me to paint you?"

"Um, sure," she says. "What do you need me to do?"

Jake waved his hand. "Just stand there and, you know, be snarky."

Jaye stands there.

"Um. People suck." Because it's hard to be snarky on cue.

Jake snickered as he got up to get his paints. "See, I wasn't really feeling that."

"I need a good snark subject!" she says.
