Outside the dorms [End of 3rd period]

Anakin lounged against the wall of the dorm building and waited for Molly with a smile on his face.

He had promised her a Jedi party trick for her birthday, and he was going to deliver.

She was a little late, but she'd kept thinking of people to invite. She'd even thought of a few more on the way down, but there was nothing she could do about that now.

"Hi, Anakin. Sorry I'm late," she said when she finally made it outside.

"Not a problem," he said, smiling. He looked up at the sky. "Good day to fly, I think."

Molly also looked up at the sky. "Good. Although I think only rain would have stopped me from doing this today," she told him with a grin.

Rory happened to glance out a window, and spotted Molly and Anakin.

Putting two and two together, as she was wont to do, she headed outside.

"Flying?" she asked with a smile.

Molly turned and saw her. "Rory! Yes! Anakin is going to make me fly. We're just waiting to see if any of the people I called can show up. You gonna stay and watch?"

Rory nodded, going to lean against the wall. "It's really, really fun," she said. "And it's very safe, of course. He's good at keeping the concentration and everything."

One might notice she had gone very red.

One might wonder why.

Or one might say 'Hey, it's Rory,' and make nothing of it.

Cameron heads outside as soon as he heard the voicemail.

"Who's flying what?" He asked right away when he joined the people outside.

"Cam!" Molly said happily when she saw him. "Anakin is going to use his powers to make me fly! Isn't that cool?"

Anakin waved. "Hey, Cam."

Krycek wandered out to the gathering of people after Journalism let out early, glad that he didn't have to miss it completely. "Hey Molly, you're flying today?"

"Alex!" Molly called when he arrived. "Yes! Anakin is going to make me fly up to the roof!"

Anakin waved.

Aeryn heads down after checking her voicemail. Considering it's Anakin, she's not entirely sure what kind of flying is going to be done. She's curious.

Molly grinned broadly when Aeryn showed up. "Aeryn! Yay! Anakin is going to make me fly up to the roof!"

Anakin waved, too. "Without a ship," he clarified.

Anakin pushed his sleeves back and stepped a few feet away from the building, grinning at Molly.

"Ready?" he asked.

Molly stepped further away from the building and nodded at Anakin excitedly. "I sure am," she said and then looked up at the roof and waited to fly.

And down Molly comes again.

After waving to everybody and letting then see that she had landed safely, Molly backed up from the edge quite a bit.

"Hey, Anakin!" she yelled as loud as she could.

"Anyone else want to try?" he called.

He gave Rory a reassuring smile. "Now that you all know I won't let you fall..."
