2nd floor Common Room, Fri Night

Anyone coming into the second floor common room would notice somebody who looked a heck of a lot like Angel, except:

1) He was wearing a tight green t-shirt and blue jeans

and

2) PINK HAT ZOMG

Clearly something was afoot.

"Hi, Blair!" the pink-hatted person called. He waved happily.

Blair waved sadly at what he was pretty sure was Molly's brain in Angel's body. "Hey there, man. You doing okay?"

"Doing great. How 'bout you? Looking forward to prom tomorrow?"

"I was." Blair muttered. "Sure! You? You got a...d-d-dress and everything?"

"Yep," he nodded. "Went shopping yesterday."

"Peachy colored, right? Parker told me and I picked up the flowers." He looked briefly at Angel's wrist. "Although now I'm thinking I should have gotten the large wrist band corsage."

"I'm sure it'll be perfect," he said.

"Cause everything I do is perfect?" Blair grinned a little.

"Something like that."

"Ha!" Blair leaned forward and whispered to Angel. "You know, for a bit there I was sure you and Molly had your brains switched or something. But I Molly wouldn't agree with that at all."

"So what's up?"

"Figured I'd take pity on ya," Angel grinned. "And not much. Just wanted a brain-break. Figured I'd be Molly for a night."

Blair grinned and bounced. "Thank goodness, man. I'm so glad I don't have to dance with you in a dress tomorrow night!"

"That's cool. She's a pretty cool person to choose to be."

"I was tired of being broody. Molly is anti-brood," Angel said. "And nah. Tomorrow it's me and Cal in a tux. Um - me in the tux. Cal's probably wearing a dress of some sort. And, if she's not too pissed at me, it'll be red."

"Tux! I rented one tonight. Did you rent yours? Isn't that awesome? It's like recycling!" Blair bounced and waved his hands a bit. "Why would Callisto be pissed at you?"

"I own one," Angel said. "Which I guess is like recycling too if you wear it more than once. And I guess you didn't hear radio last night?"

"Hmm...well I guess that's good too! Yay for recycling!"

"Nah, I usually stick in my sounds of the desert plains cd at night."

"I wish everyone else had," Angel said. "Bridge reported that I have a crush on Elizabeth. Which I do not. But you can see how that'd make my girlfriend upset."

"Maybe I should make copies of the cd or something." Blair nodded. "Yeah, I can see why she'd be upset about that. Did she yell at you or something? Is Elizabeth okay?"

"We talked," Angel said. "Me and Cal. I think it's all cleared up. Didn't get a chance to talk to Elizabeth though. Hope she's okay. It's kind of a sucky misunderstanding."

"Yeah? Well, that's good. Maybe there's a red dress in your future after all."

"Yeah, it is kinda sucky. How did Bridge come up with that?"

"Couldn't tell ya," Angel said, with a tone of voice he hoped conveyed "Ha, ha, wacky Bridge, where did he come up with that?" and not "Please God don't make me talk about the real reason."

Blair nodded, totally accepting the 'wacky Bridge' theory.

"Hopefully that won't happen again, man. Sorta sucks for everyone." He bounced once. "So are you sad about school being over soon?"

"Little bit," Angel admitted. "I'm gonna miss everybody."

Blair nodded sadly. "Are you doing that summer camp/school/thing after school lets out?"

Angel shook his head. "Going back to my dimension. Going to try to start a business."
