Ivanova had a bag of boiled sweets, fuzzy slippers, and Kill It Before It Dies. She kicked back and lounged on one of the sofas, ready for some black-and-white goodness. And, of course, Billy.

"Hello," he greeted, waving back with a hand full of boiled sweets. "Oh, you did your hair differently! It looks nice."

"Thanks!" Pippi grinned. "... Your hair looks nice too..."

That? Sounded better in her head.

"Sit down and have some of Ivanova's candy."

Alphonse blinked; that was the second time someone had complimented his hair. As long as Pippi didn't decide to style it, too... "Um, thanks," he said awkwardly. "Yeah, I'm still wondering if I should or not, actually."

"Of course you should!" she said, "What earthly reason is there not to?"

"These are Wonka's candies, Pippi," Alphonse stated firmly, wiggling one boiled sweet in a free hand. "These things should come with warning labels for all I know."

Pippi rolled the boild sweet she was sucking on in her mouth thoughtfully. again, Not. Dirty.

"Tastes fine to me."

"I guess I just have bad luck with these things," he said with a deadpan.

"Really?" she said clacking the candy against her teeth. "What happened?"

"Last one of these was sour enough to burn a hole in my throat." Alphonse leered at the candy as if it were supposed to feel guilty about it.

"If this one is sour, you can spit it out." Pippi said, "Nobody would hold it against you."

"I'll... hold on to them for a bit," he said, still wary of the candy.

Pippi wasn't entirly sure that holding onto the candy would make whatever effect Al was conserned about less, but decided it was best to let it drop.

"How was your weekend? I didn't see you at prom."

"Ah, it was all right. I kind of had *handwavy excuse*, so I didn't manage to drag myself out that night. I take it you had fun?"

"Yeah," she said. "It was a blast. We came up with a theroy about a fairy that goes around spiking punch... Haven't proven it yet though."
