Ivanova had a bag of boiled sweets, fuzzy slippers, and Kill It Before It Dies. She kicked back and lounged on one of the sofas, ready for some black-and-white goodness. And, of course, Billy.

Alphonse flailed. "I-- I'm trying to look out for myself here!"

"I don't care! Really, do whatever you want!" Ivanova flung out one hand and pointed at the television. "Billy would eat the candy! But go ahead, Al! Just reject my kind offer!"

She wasn't even upset. She hadn't been in the first place. This was just fun.

"But-- but--!" Alphonse continued flailing. "How do you know Billy would eat the candy?! I wouldn't want to turn purple or grow a fourth arm by candy if I were about to die!"

Ivanova laughed at him and his flailing. "Relax, Al, I was just teasing. You don't have to eat the candy if you don't want to," she replied, still chuckling. "And Billy would eat the candy. He's a gentleman like that. A gentleman who lives until the end of the movie, I might add."

"You're cruel," he said with a pout. He wasn't really mad, just wondering how on earth he managed to fall for it every time.

"No, I'm engagingly sarcastic," she replied pointedly. "You're adorabley naive and constantly provide an easy target. It's entirely your own fault."

"I protest that statement!" Or maybe he was just in denial. Take your pick.

"Protest it all you like," she said mildly, shrugging. "Doesn't make it any less true."

Again with the pout. "Then I won't fall for it again."

"Awww," Ivanova cooed at him. "You just keep thinking that, Al," she said in the most supportive tone that she couldd muster without cracking up at him again.

"Watch it," he pointed at her threateningly. "Or I will find something just as cuddly and huggable as weetinybunnies to lock you in with."

Ivanova snickered at that. "A fate worse than death, to be sure." As the mun fights off mental images of Ivanova standing on top of a pile of weetinycorpses.

"Wouldn't prevent me from doing so." They just want to cuddle!

"Bring it on," Ivanova shot back. Ivanova doesn't cuddle. Except with pretty girls.

Ivanova was still snickering at him. "Prepared. Yes. For the cute and cuddly. Mmm hmmm. I'm, yeah. With the preparedness."

Ivanova? Completely with the not taking him seriously at this moment. "I will be prepared. For the weetinybunnies. And the hugging." She almost said it with a straight face, too.
