Of course, he'd probably be better able to focus on studying if the TV wasn't on. But there it was.

"Homework and studying," Sam said, rolling her eyes. "In my next life, I actually want one."

It took Anders a few seconds to get the joke, but once he did he snickered. "Hey, at least you won't be the only one, right? I should seriously get cracking on this damn project, though. Latin keeps kickin' my ass."

"I'm so glad I missed that this semester," Sam said, "Though, considering they route one of my classes has taken, maybe I should have stuck with Classics."

"I'm not failing or anything. Just takes more work than I like to put into it," Anders admitted. "The route one of your classes has taken? Do I wanna know?"

Sam rolled her eyes. "Quantum Physics. Ended up almost a history class, complete with tie-dyeing, now we're being taught improbably physics by a cartoon rabbit. Somehow, I don't think it's what MIT had in mind."

It took a few moments for Anders to get his jaw working again. "I think that beats driver's ed," he said, finally.
