Friday early evening, The Roof, Dance Party, Pippi's Birthday, StuCo we survived! Party

Walter and Nadia had done their shopping at All and Sundries and Walter has theme decorations and treats for a pirate's birthday. StuCo has supplied Chinese food (on Cinco de Mayo) and there is pirate themed music because the Schottische is obligatory tonight.

Come, eat, drink, celebrate surviving a school year and the birthday of Fandom's favorite girl pirate.

"This weekend, definitely! Ivanova's going to be leaving, and I'd like to bring her along before she goes. And with anyone else that comes-- it could be our own little hangout before summer begins and people go."

When it came to the arts? He wasn't exactly up-to-date.

"Um, well, unless you consider those bedtime songs from when I was about five. Which I'm not going to recite." He glanced at her, a little embarassed. "We didn't have a radio back home."

"Well, we'll have to fix that." Nadia nodded with determination. "Because you can't live without music. Or, you can, but you shouldn't. Or something."

"Yeah, it's kind of funny," he said. "For the longest time I've always been too occupied with other things, and now that I've got all this time to just relax and adjust to new things, I'm starting to see a lot of what I haven't. Music and dancing and that stuff included."

"I'm glad. I think I'm doing the opposite. I'm so used to not having anyone to tell me what to do." She tilted her head. "It turns out, I kind of like having some responsibility."

"That's always a good thing," he nodded. "I think good things usually come to those who are willing to take on what they need to. Or, y'know, karma and all that kinda works the same way."

"Well, yes," he made a gesture that probably didn't make much sense. "It's kind of surprising. I didn't really expect it. Um. But I'm glad you think otherwise now."
