Friday early evening, The Roof, Dance Party, Pippi's Birthday, StuCo we survived! Party

Walter and Nadia had done their shopping at All and Sundries and Walter has theme decorations and treats for a pirate's birthday. StuCo has supplied Chinese food (on Cinco de Mayo) and there is pirate themed music because the Schottische is obligatory tonight.

Come, eat, drink, celebrate surviving a school year and the birthday of Fandom's favorite girl pirate.

Oh that might just be cheating. In fact, it might fall under the definition of feminine wiles.

Damn, she was good at that. The wiles. Or the wiggle. Or both.

About that time, Walter realized that he should probably be making at least some token attempt at dancing. This really wasn't fair.

Nadia was grinning like an idiot. Horny teenager. She tugged on Walter's hand to encourage his dancing. Because as much fun as it was to know he was watching her, it was more fun if she got to watch back.

Right. Dancing. And that, unlike singing, he does well. Walter mimicked Nadia, although with a bit less hip shimmy.

Excellent. Walter certainly did dance well. She added a quick little pivot turn.

Walter followed suit, mostly forgetting horny teenager for a few minutes to enjoy the dance.

Spin completed, Nadia found herself just a touch closer to Walter. Mmm. Dancing was almost as much fun as kissing.

Best. Week. Ever.

Barring the clothes thing. Or possibly including the clothes thing. Because, dude, Walter was dancing with her in his boxers.

She'd have to send those laundry machines a present.

And with another small step closer, Walter could put a hand on Nadia's waist to lead them into a spin together that could possibly end in a dip if Nadia seemed predisposed. ~~And don't try to read that sentence aloud.~~

Dips meant clinging, or at least, the excuse to do so. Nadia had no issue with this.

Nor with the hand on her waist. In fact, she was probably still grinning like an idiot. She probably hadn't stopped for quite awhile.

And why not grin back? They'd made it through a long and hard semester and they were intact. It was a perfect time to have fun. And there was no reason to remove his hand from Nadia's waist after he pulled her back up from the dip and picked up the steps from when they had started out.

Nadia distantly hoped that Pippi was having as much fun on her birthday as she was. Because she was having a wonderful day. She kept holding on as well, throwing a little bit of extra wiggle into her steps.

Walter hoped this was how the rest of the summer was going to go, because that would be the best. He might even thank the washing machines.

Hm... more spinning would be nice. For no reason having to do with his hold on her and tightening it in any way.

Yes. Spinning. Spinning was good. Tightening hold was good, too. Especially with the lack of clothing. She'd definitely have to get the laundry machines something nice. And apologize for trying to mallet them.

When the song ended, Walter still had hands in convenient places and a not overly dressed Nadia in them. He smiled and tilted his head, bringing his nose closer to hers. This would probably be taking "friends with kissing" a good deal farther if they kissed in the middle of this party wearing not a whole lot of clothes.

He wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that, but kissing was a very attractive prospect.

Nadia had absoltuely no issue with kissing in the middle of a big group of people while wearing not so much clothing.

Well, she might if she thought about it, but the thinking was much more focused on the fact that Walter was right there and not on the fact that other people were around, as well.

She tilted her head slightly, even as the CD started the next song.

Walter had no idea what the next song was other than slower than the one they'd been dancing to. Something that made the kiss he pressed to her lips just want to linger a little longer.

What a very good night.

Mm. Yes. A very good night, indeed.

Walter drew away, attempting to unobtrusively put a little space between their bodies. "What would you like to do now?"

Nadia had more than a few ideas of what they could do.

Most of them very much not appropriate for a roof full of people.

"Oh, I don't know, whatever."

"Whatever" had just become the most evocative word in the English language.

But not on a roof full of people. He stepped away to survey the gathering, keeping his hold on Nadia's hand. "I'm sure we'll figure something out."

"I'm sure we will."
