Parker's not watching Bitterwoman any more. Graduation was too traumatic. There's a Z-Cases marathon in the common room and she's settled in with popcorn.

Let's see if the new kids like disaffected FBI agents and squirrelly but hot Russian agents.

"I'll a -" He's laughing. He can't help it. She's just so serious. "I'll do my best. Parker's promised to keep me from being a jackass, so hopefully that'll cover it."

She raises an eyebrow at the laughing. And keeps it raised.

It does him in. Clutching his stomach, he leans forward, chortling madly.

It's quite possible the events of the day have caught up with him, making everything far funnier than it actually is.

Aeryn just watches him, waiting for him to stop and deciding he's obviously insane. And she's the one with the kinda-crazy almost-boyfriend, so that's saying something.

He manages to get control of himself, knowing it's not actually that funny. She's gonna think he's some kind of a crazy person. "Sorry, really. It's just been a really, really long day."

Surprisingly enough, he did. As if the insane hysterical laughter had drained away some of the tension. "Actually, yeah. Thanks. And I promise I'll try very hard not to do anything that makes you want to shoot me."
