Gym - Early Morning Thursday.
Peter was certainly not making sure he was out of the room before his roommate woke up, no. He always gets up this early.
He stumbled into the gym wearing his tunic and leggings and found a rattan practice sword in one of the cupboards. No shield or partner, but he could practice as well by himself.
After stretching out completely, he moved onto some of the mats and started working through old footwork drills.

"Gwynn! I was rather hoping you'd be up early. Want to come work out?"

"Hi, Peter! I'm always up early." She came over to him. "I'd love to work out. I think yesterday was the first day in a long time that I haven't done so."

"I think there are more practice swords over there if you wanted to warm up for a bit then we could spar?"

She headed over to get a practice sword to work with -- much relieved that the principal seemed to think the wooden practice weapons were alright. She could stay in practice this way and not accidentally hurt anyone.
"So how did your first day go?" she asked as she started going through one of the sword dance routines she had learned from Tuck and his monks.

"Combination of the mundane and completely unexpected - which seems to be par for the course at Fandom. Signed up for summer workshops, spent some time in town talking to people, ended up in the common room in the evening. And between times? Found out my sister is in Fandom. My little sister - who's now my older sister." Peter concentrated on his steps. "What about you?"

"I met a young man who creates music, a girl who cooks something called pancakes, a horse that lives in the dorms and loves to be petted and scritched... oh, and my roommate showed me how to use one of those talking devices."
Then her mind caught up with her ears.
"Wait... your younger sister is here and now she's your older sister?"
Gwynn wasn't sure she heard right.

"Invasion?" She stopped her work out and looked at Cam with some concern. "Are we in need of warriors to defend from invaders?"
