3rd, 2nd and 1st floor and outside, Thursday Noon

Laden with a duffle bag and a backpack, Angela felt like she was moving everything she owned as she prepared to head to the airport. Or, more accurately, she was carrying half of what she owned and making Marty carry the other half.

Not quite idly, she wondered if she should add a sweater. Or another pair of pajamas. And maybe she should have bought a third swimsuit.

Of course, she wasn't obsessing over packing because she didn't want to think about how much she would miss everyone at school. Nope. Not at all.

The thought made her sigh, so she crammed one more book into her duffle and surveyed the current pile of luggage, then began to idly pace the lobby, waiting for the rickshaw cab.

"I think I heard there were some doubles in the new students, and a bunch of confusing names," Angela said. "But it can't be fun to se someone walking around with your ex's face. It was weird for me when that creepy Russian guy looked like Jordan."

"We will have as much fun as is legally allowed," Angela said, reachign to enfold Rory in a hug. "And possibly more."

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do," Rory said, hugging Angela. She paused, considering this. "Okay, that's kind of limiting. Don't do anything, um, Parker wouldn't do."

Angela feigned puzzlement. "But what if I want to develop a heroin addiction?"

"Then you will just have to wait until next vacation," Rory said solemnly.

"You never let me have any fun," Angela said, and pouted.

Then she had a thought. "Hey, when-ish is your little brother getting here?"

"Mom's due in July," Rory supplied. "Think you'll be back by earlyish in the month?"

"Definitely. So, yay, we'll get to meet him when he's all new." Angela grined. "And you have to write and tell us if anything exciting happens while we're gone."

"I'll definitely do so. Though, seriously, I don't think we're due for anything exciting for awhile. Not after being little all weekend a few weeks ago, and all," Rory said.

"But new kids," Angela pointed out. "We got zombies first semester and the snow monsters last time. You'll probably have to fight off an army of vampirous weetinybunnies."

"If nothing else, we have those workshops. Anakin's teaching." She grinned. "Anakin. Teaching. Which requires patience. This can't possibly go wrong."

She sighed. "But that's not until he gets back, and we don't know when that'll be, or whatever. And I signed up for Xander's thing, too. I figure that after Study Group, I could definitely work with something like that."

"He had to go home again?" Angela asked. "I'm sorry. At least he got to graduate, first. And you know he'll come back again."

"I have no idea which wiorkshops I'll take next time. Maybe Chloe's writing thing, and i never got to take anything with Professor Tick."

"He's coming back," Rory said confidently before letting it drop.

"I'm taking Chloe's thing if we get a second chance to sign up for things." She wrinkled her nose. "Did you see that my evil twin's teaching sex ed, or whatever? How tacky."

"I did notice that," Angela said, wrinkling her nose. "Ew. I bet her class is all guys drooling at her."

"Probably. Which I guess I could take as a compliment, or something, but seriously." She made a face. "Ew."

"Ew," Angela agreed. "I mean, yes, you're pretty, but still."

"Anyway," Rory said, waving a hand. "Who's watching your cat? Want me to check in on them and make sure Min's not, like, ready to unionize with the other pets of the dorm or anything while you're away?"

"This guy Tyler," Angela shrugged. "She escaped, he found her, she seems to like him, he doesn't look like a terrorist. But check in with him about her, okay? I don't know him all that well."

"Will do," Rory said, nodding. She sighed. "I should...probably let you actually get going, huh?"

"Yeah," Angela said apologetically. "We'll be back before you know it."

"Bye," Rory said, and with a quick wave and a grin, she disappeared back up the stairwell.
