2nd Floor Common Room, Thursday Afternoon

Logan was in the kitchen. Cooking. Because when you were in a kitchen, working with a blender, you could call it cooking. Even if the result was more beverage-y than food-y. It was practically summer, anyway. Perfect time for a cold iced drink. With tequila.

The television was playing "Annie".

"Oh. Right," Cordy said, starting to get more and more confused. "To be honest, I'm just not sure how old I am anymore. It's a little scary."

"Heh. That's... weird." Xander said, trying to look innocent. "How could you forget something like that?"

[identity profile] upforachase.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, it's not really a forgetting thing. Technically I'm 24. I think. I was born in 1981, so it makes sense. Except here I am, in highschool. And I think that I'm 16. Again. I haven't ruled out the possibility that this is a hell dimension," Cordy said, getting exasperated.

"It's just weird, you know?"

"I... actually do, sort of." Xander confessed.

"Oh," Cordelia said, a little surprised.

"That's...well, it's reassuring."

"Yes. Word of advice: never eat ham sandwiches if they've been prepared by a sorceress-in-training named Clare. It can only end in a horrible magical cloning incident."

"I'm never eating ham again," Cordy said, smiling. "So does that mean you're a clone then?"

[identity profile] thenamesxander.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"It does, yes. Except she couldn't even get *that* right, because the original-me is seventeen. And taller." He rolled his eyes.

[identity profile] upforachase.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Cordelia smiled. "At least you didn't turn out hideously ugly or anything," she said, because she likes to look on the bright side. "A clone, though. That must be kinda weird."

[identity profile] thenamesxander.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"A little, yeah." Xander admitted. "Though... this place isn't so bad. And I wouldn't be here if I didn't exist, so, you know..." he grins.

[identity profile] upforachase.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"So it's a good thing you're a clone then," Cordy said, smiling coyly.

[identity profile] thenamesxander.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, yeah, I guess it is." Xander said, blushing a little.

"Just think, you wouldn't have met me otherwise," Cordy said. "And I hear I'm worth meeting."

[identity profile] upforachase.livejournal.com 2006-05-12 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
"Then you have excellent taste."
