2nd Floor Common Room, Thursday Afternoon

Logan was in the kitchen. Cooking. Because when you were in a kitchen, working with a blender, you could call it cooking. Even if the result was more beverage-y than food-y. It was practically summer, anyway. Perfect time for a cold iced drink. With tequila.

The television was playing "Annie".

"You have to go down to the clinic in town and beg the nurse there to give you one."

He remembered something he heard in the fourth floor common room last night, and decided to throw that lie in too. He hadn't messed with peoples heads in quite a while, and was having fun doing it. "I've also heard that tomorrow is 'Shirtless Day' for the male students here at Fandom High, so it would be an excellent time for your roommate to head down there. It will take less effort to get a shot if one's arm is already uncovered."

"That does make perfect sense..."

James was pretty sure that he didn't need a coolness shot. After all, nobody was cooler than Team Rocket.
Just just in case he started to feel even the slightest bit emocoma-ish, at least now he knew where to go and what to do.
Shiro, however, might need to know about this. His roomie, after all, had terrible fasion sense.
For a pokemon.
Perhaps he could persuade Shiro to accompany him to the clinic so that they could both beg for their coolness shots.
Just to be on the safe side, of course.

Team Rocket. Cool. But one could never be too careful...

"Shirtless day, you say? I have to go around without a shirt on tomorrow?"

"I believe that's the intent of the holiday. Finally, FH will have a day free from the tyrannical dominion of the pro-shirt forces."

"And... tyrrany is bad, right?"

James was pretty certain that Team Rocket was rather tyrannical, but he was somewhat concerned about these pro-shirt forces. They sounded dangerous.

"Usurping tyrants are base and conniving and should be dealt with the harshest way possible. One should always try to fight against them before they destroy you."

He might have been getting a little to personal here.

"Right. Tyrants are bad. Harshest... fight... destroy. I hear you."

James was pretty sure that "the harshest way possible" might have had something to do with being forced to eat Jessie's cooking. But he could be mistaken.

After all, he was a member of the team of usurping tyrants.

"What is the harshest way possible? Uh... In case I have to deal with an usurping tyrant someday?"

Hamlet stared into space, a little of James shoulder.

"Kill them. Preferably with a sword or dagger."

"Well."

...

"That sounds messy..."

[identity profile] ihatedenmark.livejournal.com 2006-05-12 07:02 am (UTC)(link)
"It likely will be."

Hamlet started to fall into his old pattern of brooding. One day he'd finally work up the courage to kill his uncle. He cursed himself for still not having done it yet.

James took the opportunity to wiggle his way back toward the door, backed against the wall with his arms in the air.

It would seem that this poor boy hadn't gotten his coolness shot. He could see the beginnings of an emocoma starting to take its icy grip on him.

Such a shame, really. He had been most helpful.

But, out of the fear that emocomas were contagious, James made a break for it, out of the common room, down the hall, and off to continue his explorations. Thankfully, unscathed.
