Alec was big on tv, not having watched much growing up. And he liked music videos (they were shiny and didn't need a big attention span to enjoy), so when he found that there was a whole channel devoted to them? He was in as close to heaven as he was likely to get with his clothes on.

So, sitting on the couch, barefoot and with a bowl of cereal, he was pretty much glued to the set. He could do without that crappy Macarena song or so much Spice Girls though. Whoa, retro.

"Oh! How rude of me. I'm Buffy Summers. Nice to meet you," Buffy said politely.

"Are you a newbie too? Or an oldie?" Buffy beamed, since this Briar guy didn't seem to know her from anywhere before.

"I'm a newbie. I've been here almost a week now." Briar smiled at Buffy's beaming.

Briar had way too much experiences trying to keep up with fast-talking blondes. "It's different from what I expected. And no, I haven't met anyone who has met me or um, me? How can there be more than one of you?"

"Don't know." Buffy pouted slightly. "But apparently there is. And one of them had bad hair too."

"You hair's lovely." Briar reassured and tried to convince his brain not to work on figuring out how someone can have another self.

Buffy snickered. "Yeah, I think so. So where are you from? I'm from LA."
