It's a common room. People will show.

Okay, fine, if she has to be doing something, she is flipping channels. It's sweeps, though, which means everything's annoying her. Mostly, she's watching the commercials. Which are annoying her, too. Woe.

"Hi there. Talk to any good purses lately?" Peter asked as he entered the common room and spotted Jaye.

"So I hear you're lying about me to the newbies," she says.

"I've been telling them you're a crazy purse-talker. You've been telling them I'm royalty," Peter said. "I'm not the lying one here."

"Peter Parker picked a peck of pickled peppers," Kawalsky said when he saw Jaye and Peter. "A peck of pickled peppers Peter Parker picked. If Peter Parker picked a peck of pickled peppers, where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Parker picked?"

"Pittsburgh," Peter said. "So I hear I'm an alien."

"Are you? Well it's good you can come out and admit these things."

"A new girl told me that she heard I was a possibly hostile alien," Peter said. "As it turns out, I'm not. I wonder where she heard that false bit of information."

He's managed to unpack and he's managed to take several naps and now he's in the second floor common room because why not?

"Hello," he greets, stepping inside. "No one's cooking tonight?"

"I kind of love you right now," says Jaye.

"Generally speaking, not me," Peter said. "More specifically, I'd rather be referred to as the proper gender."

"Hello, person I've never met," Peter said. "I'm Peter Parker. Have you met Jaye here? She's insane."

"No one's stopping you," says Jaye with a wave. "Hi."

"I haven't and thank you for the warning," Cedric says. "I'm sorry about her insanity."

"You don't want me to cook," he warns. "Hi, you must be Jaye whom Peter just told me is insane. You look rather all right to me."

"So am I," Peter said, shaking his head sadly. "So am I."

"Welcome to Fandom, Person Who's Been Here For A Week Whom I Hadn't Met Until Now. Can I call you 'Perry' for short?"

"Cedric," he says, offering his hand. "You can call me Cedric. I don't know any Perry's."

"I'll take that under consideration."

"I'm fine," she says. "He's just mad because I keep calling him Princess."

"Oh." Cedrc looks from Jaye to Peter and back again. "Is he a princess? He looks rather the wrong gender but I've been wrong before."

Peter shook Cedric's hand. "Am I calling you Cedric because that's your name or because you just like the name?"

"I have decided he is."

"And I'll take certain things under consideration as well," Peter said cryptically.

"It's my name," he says. "And I like it at times."

"Well, I hail your decision as thoughtful and wise." Cedric smiles at her before taking a seat.
