2nd Floor Common Room Kitchen - Afternoon

Elizabeth was pretty much fed up of doing nothing.

She pulled out a folder of recipes, and having checked ingredients and *handwavily* buying what she was missing, she headed to the kitchen to hopefully not create a disaster.

Not sure if Jamie might be doing another movie marathon, Willow went down to the 2nd floor common room.

She saw somebody trying to cook. "Oh. Um. Hi! Am I interrupting?"

Elizabeth turned around, and smiled at the unfamilar girl. "No, not at all. Hi. I'm Elizabeth."

"Willow," she said, pointing at herself. She folded her book against her chest and came over. "What are you making?"

"Is this how you stave off boredom, Elizabeth?" Peter asked as he came into the Common Room.

Cally yawned and wandered into the common room that was still right next door to her own room.

"Hello people!" Cally said, before eyeing Liz's open cookbook. "Ooooh, whatcha making?"

Cally waved to the new girl. "Hello new person!" She smiled, warmly. "I'm Cally. But if you plan on looking me up in the student directory, that's my last name."

"Pyraniki at the moment," Elizabeth said, turning back to add flour to her bowl. "They're spicy cookies."

In search of people, and despite spending lots of time in other common rooms over the last week, force of habit still sent Isabel to the second floor. "Hi Elizabeth! Hi Willow!"

"It's my latest attempt, yes," Elizabeth said, smiling. "How are you today, Peter?"

"Pyraniki," Elizabeth replied. "Cookies."

"Hey, Isabel. How's things?"

"What's in 'em?" Cally asked, peering at the cookbook. "Anything chocolatey or caramely?"

"Things are well," Isabel smiled. "I'm enjoying the break. How about you?"

"I'm well, and yourself?" He looked at the ingredients and asked "so what are you making?"

"Not these ones, no, sorry," Elizabeth said. "Honey, almonds, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger."

"Bored of the break," Elizabeth grinned. "Hence the cooking and baking!"

"Cinnamon and Ginger is good enough for me," Cally said. "Oh, erm, assuming you're not going to eat them all yourself or share them with Janet or something. I'm totally not a cookie stealer."

"Not too bad, thanks," Elizabeth said, adding spices. "They're called pryaniki. Cookies, basically."

"Want help?" Willow asked. "I make a pretty mean cookie. Well, actually I'm told they're very nice. They don't go around and terrorize the other baked goods or anything."

"Oh, um, okay," Willow said. She gave Cally a wave. "In which case, hi. I'm Rosenberg."

Elizabeth laughed. "Don't worry, I'll be sharing," she said. "And there's still the whole afternoon to go and enough ingredients for a few more recipes too, should I so desire."

Cally waved to Peter. "Any inanimate objects insult your family today?"

"Ooooh, lots of cooking," Cally said. "Always a good way to spend a day."

Elizabeth giggled. "Not terrorizing other baked goods is a good thing," she said, nodding. "I think I'm good for this batch; I just need to cut out the dough and put them in the oven now. But I'm bored enough to be baking for a bit longer if you're still interested in helping."
