The gym, Thursday night

It's been a pretty quiet day all around, and Aeryn spent a good part of it shopping. Which means she heads down to the gym when she has a chance, because that is much more normal.

She puts on her gloves and starts in on the bag again.


[Open. Because I'm not used to being done playing at 8 pm.]

Rory paused before remembering that Molly knew now.

"He was supposed to be back over a week ago," she said, shrugging as she hit the bag a little harder. "It's scary, that's all."

Molly frowned. "I didn't know he was supposed to only be gone that long," she said, mildly concerned. But, then, she thought about it for a moment. "His workshop is still on the schedule though, right? You'd think that the school would have heard something if he couldn't come back."

"That's what Parker said, too," Rory nodded. "He said it'd be a day or two, unless he got called on a mission. Which terrifies me, because last time he was on a mission, he got hurt kind of badly."

"No news is good news?" Molly offered.

Rory shrugged for the umpteenth time, and said, "So, how are you?"

Molly shrugged as well. "Slept most of the day," she said.

"Good. Sleep is good. You need to be resting," Rory said, nodding and giving Molly a concerned once-over. "Did you eat something?"

"I had breakfast?" Molly said and winced slightly waiting for Rory's reaction.

Rory sighed. "Eat something else before you go to bed?" she negotiated.

Molly just nodded noncommittally.

And Rory accepted that, because hey, she lived on coffee and waffles a lot of the time.
