Grounds; Late Saturday Night.
Try as she might, Sakurazaki couldn't distract herself from thinking. She had tried so many things, and, while she was doing them...visiting other common rooms, working out at the gym, translating whole novels..., she thought she was succeeding, but once it all wrapped down and she was left again, alone in her room, looking at a photograph or noticing the lack of a sword strapped to her back, it could not be helped. She just lived inside of her head too much, and thoughts always came back to her.
So, she decided to take another walk, drifting out to that tree she had grown to like so much. She didn't sit beneath it like she would have on a different night...instead, she settled herself right on the cusp of where the branches reached, laying down in the grass with her arms tucked behind her head. She propped her knees up slightly, gazing up into the sky, and just thinking. No conclusions, no consquences, no what-ifs or why's. Just thoughts, and a scattering of clouds masking the night sky as she released little breaths of sighs into it quietly.

Sakurazaki smiles softly, slowly holding out a hand. "Hello, kitty..." she says quietly, desperately hoping in the back of her mind that this wouldn't end up on the list of things that current students warned incoming students about. The kitty looked normal enough, though.

Alphonse looked up towards the cloudy sky, slightly frowning. "I wish it'd clear up soon. All this raining and cloudy days kind of makes the area feel gloomy."

Letting out a slight scoff, Sakurazaki shook her head. "I'm sorry; that's probably not a very good place to take a conversation with someone the first time you meet them." She wished she could assure him that she isn't usually like this, but she was too worried that it would end up being a lie in the long run.

Cuddles, in the meantime, was debating on either jumping into Sakurazaki's lap or chasing a random dust particle in the air. Decisions, decisions; why did they have to exist?

Something suddenly seems to be troubling, though, hidden behind her eyes as she looks over and studies his face. He looks familiar, but she can't figure out why...She frowns slightly, pondering. The darkness of the night doesn't help.
And then it hits her. "Wait a second," she says, realization creeping in. "I have met you before. You were at the slumber party on Wednesday, weren't you?"
