Try as she might, Sakurazaki couldn't distract herself from thinking. She had tried so many things, and, while she was doing them...visiting other common rooms, working out at the gym, translating whole novels..., she thought she was succeeding, but once it all wrapped down and she was left again, alone in her room, looking at a photograph or noticing the lack of a sword strapped to her back, it could not be helped. She just lived inside of her head too much, and thoughts always came back to her.

So, she decided to take another walk, drifting out to that tree she had grown to like so much. She didn't sit beneath it like she would have on a different night...instead, she settled herself right on the cusp of where the branches reached, laying down in the grass with her arms tucked behind her head. She propped her knees up slightly, gazing up into the sky, and just thinking. No conclusions, no consquences, no what-ifs or why's. Just thoughts, and a scattering of clouds masking the night sky as she released little breaths of sighs into it quietly.

Alphonse looked slightly upwards into the air, staring at it for a long moment. He understood what she meant, but understanding how it was possible was an entirely different story. He wasn't sure where to begin with thinking about reaching into spirits and forces and everything else she mentioned. Cuddles broke whatever concentration he had on the subject my rubbing up against his ankle, mewing curiously.

"That sounds incredible," he said finally. "Sometimes, I wish I could use magic. Maybe that way some things wouldn't be so hard to create..."

Again, she has to consider exactly how to reply to this one. "I imagine anyone could do it if they worked hard enough to discover how. It's just some are better at it, like some people are better at running or cooking or writing...And finding a person who can teach you is important, too, I imagine. I have little aptitude for magic, but I can still use some because of my training...I could teach you chi, if you were interested, which is different than magic, but probably a good way to get in touch with all the spiritual connections and such...."

She isn't sure how much of that made sense, so she makes sure to finish it with an encouraging smile.

"That would be interesting," Alphonse agreed with a nod. "I don't actually plan on ever really using magic, but learning about it would be an experience, I think."

She smiled, head tilted slightly. "Well, I'd be more than happy to help you as much as I can if you wanted to look into it."

"But I do think sleep is sneaking up on me and ~~my mun feels it's always slightly awkward and potentially troublesome having crossing timelines, hehe~~, as discussed earlier, it's never a good thing to fall asleep out here in this weather. I think I'll head inside."

She brushes off her skirt as she stands. "It was nice meeting you, Alphonse. And you, too, Cuddles."

"Ah!" Alphonse looked up again, just now realizing how late it already was, and had gotten. "That sounds like a good idea ~~and the mun agrees, whoops~~. Sorry for keeping you out so late." Cuddles meowed at her as to say his goodnight; Alphonse scooped the kitten up in his arms. "I'll see you around then, Sakurazaki."

"It's no problem." She waves her hand a little before slinking away. "Hope to see you soon, Alphonse."
