The Gym - Sunday Morning

Peter forced himself out of bed at a reasonable hour and stumbled down to the gym.  Still half-wake and bleary-eyed, he didn't think he trusted himself even with a practice sword just yet, so after a quick warm-up, he headed for the heavy bag.

"Tyler, Cam, and Jamie, then Peter Parker, Greg, and two others I don't remember. You?"

"Rory, Isabel and Alanna- and Faithful, I guess- in mine, and then across the cabin is Molly, Dawn, Zack, and Buffy. Which... should be interesting."

Peter snickered, "Seven ladies and one boy? That is most certainly going to be interesting. I feel rather sorry for Zack."

"I met him the other day," she says with a little smile. "I do have a little bit of sympathy for him there, yes..."

"You all shall be kind to him, I hope?" Peter said, teasingly.

"I might be forced to take him along if I feel I need to flee at any time," she says. "Which is a possibility..."

"You're not sure you can handle seven days with six other women? You might come out of it a cheerleader."

"No, no no no no no," she says, quickly and emphatically. "I have told Buffy, I have told John, I will tell anyone who will listen. No cheerleading. If I ever agree to it, it means I'm possessed, and get me help."

Laughing, Peter said, "I promise, I shall find the best exorciser in the land to save you from the demonic influence of cheerleading."

"From what I've heard of it, I wouldn't be surprised if that was actually the cause," says Aeryn. Which isn't exactly true. It seems fine for other people, just not her. Maybe she's still a little weirded out over the idea of the outfits.

Peter totally doesn't think that Aeryn would be cute in one of the outfits. Except for the part where he does. He just keeps it to himself. It's the diplomatic training.

"You could be the referee for the basketball game," he suggested. "Call fouls and break up any fights."

"Hm. Maybe I'll just watch from the stands," she says. "Probably easier for all involved that way."

"Very wise," Peter said with a wink. "That was my plan as well."

He stepped back and bowed to Aeryn. "I'll let you get back to your workout. It was a pleasure talking to you, Sir Aeryn."

"You, too," she says, and sits back to work at the machine.
