Squirrel Common Room, Monday Morning
Grogily, and still dressed in yesterday's clothes, Seras made her way into the common room.
She was still trying to shake off that 'How in God's name did I manage to sleep for 12 hours?' feeling.
She hadn't even got to see who her roommates were. Bugger.
Ah well.
Her Arts and Crafts workshop didn't start until this afternoon, so she was at loose ends until then.

Ah well. She was groggy, after all.
She grabbed a tin cup and sat down again to join Walter in his kettle watching.

She spooned sugar into the tea and took a grateful sip.
"Perfect."

Walter shook his head and grinned. "He likes you." I never understood why Alucard brought her home.
Shut up!

She set asider her tea and slid off the chair onto the floor next to Pup.
"The feeling is mutual," she said, scritching the hellpuppy's ears.

She sat, leaning her back against the chair with him cradled against her.
Happiness was indeed a warm-ish hellpuppy.

Shut. Up.
Walter watched Pup and Seras and shook his head. "He's the friendliest little hellhound ever. I'm sure his father would be mortified."

"His father?"

"And, what is he? Precisely."

"What...like a witch's black cat or something?"

Pup wriggled happily in Seras arms and started giving her a very puppy-like, and very thorough, sniffing.
I never...
Shut. UP!
"He's not going to get any larger, which is good. A full sized hellhound has a lot of teeth."

"My sock drawer wouldn't stand a chance," she said, "So, Pup is your familiar rather than your pet?"
no subject
Pup stopped sniffing and gave Walter a look.

"He is," she agreed, "You're lucky to have him."
