Puffin Campfire, Monday Evening

Edward sat himself down at the edge of the fire ring, eyeing the fire as he cautiously set a few books down. Hunting around for a little bit dug up a proper stick for marshmallow roasting, and opening a bag of large poofy marshmallows, Edward set some marshmallows to roasting.

Open for all your Puffin campfire needs!

"Well, I have Arts and Crafts on Mondays, Documentaries and Archery on Tuesday, and then Wednesday I have Karate." She likes to put it like that, because it makes her realize that the worst is already behind her for the week.

"I have Astronomy on Wednesdays and Applied Dadaism on Fridays. And Baking Mondays, obviously. I'm not sure what Dadaism is, really, but I liked the name."

"I wanted to take that one, too, but my options filled up pretty quickly."

"There are more classes later in the summer, I think. Maybe you can take it then, if they have it. Or something else. There might be something better."

"Only four was so difficult for me. How did you manage to want to choose only three? Unless I'm counting incorrectly."

Apparantly, a side effect of being a non-native English speaker is being completely ignorant to the fact that you've started to speak in rhyming prose.

Stark shrugged. "I had a hard time finding three I wanted, that I could take. I was going to sign up for Arts and Crafts as well, but that was full. So I decided three was enough. Next time I may take more. If there are more I want to take."

She frowns slightly. "Well, that isn't very fair...Pity we didn't meet before. I don't even want to take arts and crafts. I'm only taking it because Ojou-sama said I had to, but if she knew I was usurping the spot of someone more interested, she might have changed her mind, and we'd both be happy."

"I don't mind," Stark said quickly, shaking his head. "And maybe you will like it, later on."

"Well, the first day wasn't so bad. I got to make this."

Here she branishes the wilted "little" popsicle-stick and duct tape sword; she swishes it through the air a little. "It's not nearly as big as my actual nodachi, but I've been having fun with it. I miss my sword."

Stark grinned. "See? Fun already. And you used duct tape," he added cheerfully. "I took Shop this spring. There was a lot of duct tape in that class. But I'm sure an actual sword is better than a duct tape one."

Then he stifled a yawn. "I think I'll go inside. It was nice to meet you."

((Alas, I must scamper off to bed now.))

She waves her hand a little. "Nice meeting you too."
