Camp Gym, Monday Night.

Callisto was in front of the punching bag, hitting it with far more force than was really necessary.

It was possible she'd been there a awhile.

Aeryn goes quiet for a moment. "Around the time school started, John kissed someone else," she says. "It wasn't even a big deal, he didn't mean anything by it... We weren't even serious at that point. He kept it from me for months because he didn't want to hurt me and didn't realize this the most idiotic thing he could have ever done."

She adds, "Angel asked me to keep an eye on you, make sure you were all right. He wouldn't do that if you didn't mean anything."

"Hurting?" she guesses. "This doesn't change who you are, and if you were a fool I wouldn't even associate with you. You just have to ask yourself if it was worth it in the end." She doesn't want to give her any sort of answer, but personally, if someone feels that strongly about something...

She touches Callisto's shoulder. "I'll leave you to your hitting," she says.
