Meerkat Common Room [late afternoon]

Rory lounged on the couch in the Meerkat common room, the curtains carefully drawn on the windows. She had her laptop out, and was watching her Vanessa Saturn DVDs, and if possible, her sunburn looked worse than yesterday.

Vladdie was...sulking in the corner. Which was an odd look for Vladdie, really.

"Say cheese." Walter held up his camera.

Alec obligingly grinned, then cocked his head at Walter. "So who's taking my picture?"

Walter tucked the picture of Rory in his waistcoat pocket and grabbed the polaroid of the new guy as it was spat out by the camera.

"Thanks. I'm Walter. And whose picture did I just take?"

"Alec, one of the new guys," he said. "Is this a picture for private or public use?"

"I hear I can make quite a bit of dosh redistributing things like this on the internet," Walter joked.

"It's for personal use. My corkboard is empty and I thought I'd refill it."

"The pleasure is mine, I'm sure." Walter cleared his throat and looked around. "Right. I'm sure I'll see you around. I have more pictures to take if I want to pin a full harem."
