Flamingo Campfire - Wednesday Evening [around sunset]

Veronica has never started a campfire.

But that isn't stopping her from trying.

Anyone wandering in the vicinity of the Flamingo cabin will see her sitting next to the fire ring, laptop propped on a chair and open to a website with instructions on how to start a campfire, desperately attempting to follow them. People nearby may also hear her swearing to herself because it doesn't seem to be working.

"Is your new virtual pet as well?" Parker asks. "Who's teaching the course, anyway? The last computer teacher we had fell asleep in a closet somewhere, I think, and never returned."

"Well, no, but if RIC's teaching it..." Bridge shrugs. "She told us to call her Professor Abby," he says.

"I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's learning, then," Parker said. "Professor Abby? Hunh. She seem sane?"

"So far, yep." Bridge nods. "Though a little bit of insanity may well be an asset in this place."

"True. It's the hypnotize-students-into-kleptos-and-pyros I always worry about. Still. The current bunch seem relatively harmless." Parker twirled her marshmellow stick, looking thoughtful.
