Outside the Meerkat Cabin, Saturday morning

After waking up and finding something missing from each of their alcoves, the super sons of the Stickbug decided it was even more important to go through with their completely serious plan for peace.

Very quietly, the Stickbugs set up a table for their apology breakfast treat they promised a few days ago. A large cheesecake - that they in no way boobytrapped - was the centerpiece of this grand table of apology. Next to the cheesecake was all the coffee the Meerkats could drink - which was in no way boobytrapped for real because doing things to coffee was understood to be a hanging offense - and a sign that said "Sorry," making this the ultimate in peace offerings!

During this set up, a Stickbug who shall remain nameless at the moment walked around to the back of the cabin where the plumbing came in and made a small but important change.

The stage was set and the mighty Stickbugs stood there, waiting quietly for the Meerkats to fall into their trap wake up and accept this peace offering with the kind of skepticism that would truly be rewarded.

As they waited, they couldn't help but wonder where exactly their underwear was.

[OOC: Currently locked to the Stickbugs and any Meerkats who may be waking up.There's been a cake explosion. You can probably notice this. And as a note to any Meerkats who might want to shower after this, your hot water has been turned off.]

"Stickbugs are trying something. Not sure what yet."

"It looks too innocent not to be something," Dawn said, still looking out the window. "Also, morning."

"Morning," Molly said and looked out the window. "Are they trying to lure us out again, do you think?" This was definitely a much nicer way to lure them out. Why hadn't they done this the first time?

Zack frowned. "Maybe we should lock the doors and windows."

"Do we know anyone who can do anything with invisibility?" Dawn asked, thinking of Bitterwoman's invisible plane.

Molly shook her head. "Maybe one of the witches, but I don't think that'll do us much good right now."

"Maybe we could se how they like invisible ducks," Zack muttered darkly.

"But then the duck poop and feathers would be invisible, which kind of defeats the gross part," Dawn pointed out. "But they're outside in the open, so there's nothing that could fall on our heads, right?"

"Invisible means they can't clean it up."

Molly snorted. "There is that," she said. "So, do we send out a sacrificial lamb or do we invite them in?"

"I think we should treat them like vampires, just in case," Dawn said, "and not invite them in, just in case."

"So, who's going?"

Buffy blinked sleepily at her very noisy cabin mates. "What's going on?"

"The stickbugs are outside being suspicious," Molly told her. "They're offering us cheesecake. This cannot be good."

"We need to send a Meerkat out to check," Zack replied. "I volunteer someone who isn't me."

Dawn looked around. "Who's here to volunteer?"

Buffy hauled herself out of bed and squinted out of the window. She brightened. "There's coffee! ...They wouldn't mess with the coffee, would they?" She glanced around, then smirked. "I vote we send the hellcat."

Molly sighed. "I'll go," she said. "I know half of them better than you three do. If they do anything to me, I can lay the guilt trip of the century on them."

"Yay, guilt trip!" Dawn said, always a fan.
