Seahorse common room, Saturday afternoon

This is Jaye in a good mood. This should not come as a shock to the other residents of Seahorse A. But really, they brought back doughnuts and there's a toaster (which looks a little bit sheep-like, really) in case anyone wants that. It's something to alleviate the trauma. Yep uh huh but totally not.

And yes, Jaye totally knows introducing the toaster to the cabin full of boys and shirtless signs is a bad idea, but at least it could be a fun bad idea.

Alec walks in, freshly showered, and grabs a doughnut, thinking about maybe going to the gym later, or just a good long run. He's a little preoccupied, at any rate, should anyone feel like grabbing him. dirty?

"So, did you sleep well last night?" Dean asked, leaning over and grabbing another doughnut of his own.

"When there was sleep being had," he said, not at all smugly, no.

"More than some of us got," Dean said. "Seemed that there was this annoying racket that kept happening..."

"Huh. Guess you guys aren't such heavy sleepers. Sorry about that." He didn't seem particularly apologetic though.

"My family hunts demons. Kinda a given we're going to wake up when there's weird noises." He tilted his head to the side. "Didn't know you could hit that hight a note."

Alec shrugs, not at all self-conscious. "Hey, I didn't know she could do that thing with her tongue," he said, moving one hand in a vaguely descriptive gesture in explanation.

Dean sorta.. twitched as his mind helpfully provided pictures he didn't want, to go with Alec's words.

"Whatever, dude. Just if you're going to be that... ah... enthusiastic in the future, maybe next time find a place a little less... crowded."

"Rory said there was poison ivy in the woods," Alec pointed out, grinning a little. "Didn't really feel like chancing unsightly rashes and bugs. But I'll keep it in mind."

"Hey," Jaye greets him.

"Hey," he returns, grinning. "Catching hell are we?"

"That's okay, I think I gave Dean some fun mental images right back," she says. "Next time, walls."

"Walls? Good surfaces," he says, nodding.

"Well, I was thinking next time we have actual full walls that go all the way up, and doors, but... I can work with that."

Alec grins. "Either way."

"Or... you know, we can just be louder."

"We still have to share a cabin with them," he remarks, still grinning. "But I can't find it in me to disagree."

"Alec. I barely recognise you with your shirt on. Is this a new trend?"

Alec snickered. "Hey, I don't want it to become boring. And I bought all these nice clothes, I figure I should get some use out of them."

"Good point." Jack nodded in agreement. "Wouldn't want to have the shirtlessness become part of the background."

Tipping his head sideway, he studied Alec. "I have to admit that, from a purely selfish perspective, I'm a bit disappointed. Not that the clothes aren't very nice, but your shirtlessness was definitely one of the highlights of my day."

Grinning, Alec looked particularly pleased. "I'd hate to deny anyone the scenery, but it's nice to know it's appreciated."

"Oh it is, it really, really is," Jack replied with a grin. "It's going to be hard to leave the cabins and go back to the mundane non-shirtlessnes of the dorms." Smirking, he asked, "Don't suppose I could convince you to wander past my room every morning, just so I don't feel too deprived?"
