Koala Campfire, Morning

Bel found himself waking up early Monday morning because his mun had to work for some reason. He couldn't fall back asleep, so he slipped out of bed without disturbing Phoebe, got dressed, and went outside. The camp was pretty quiet so far. He settled in front of the charred remains of the Koala firepit and waited to see who might be awake and passing by.

"Maybe Anakin will offer it for the second session," Bel said. "You could try to take it then."

"Maybe I will," Lana said. "I might be a bit out of my league though. Most of the people who seemed interested have so much experience already."

"Not me!" Bel said. "Tell you what, I'll let you know if I felt out of place in the class by the end of the session, then you can decide if you want to take it." Privately he hoped Lana did not want to, since he didn't like or trust Anakin.

"Thanks," Lana said. "I'd really appreciate that."

She was quiet for a moment. "Shep was - *is* - a pilot, you know. I don't know if taking the class would be a good thing or not. I'm working so hard to move on..."

"Don't take it for him," Bel advised. "Take it for yourself. If you only think you want to because of him, skip it."

"Flying... fascinates me... But I could probably pass on the class." She shrugged. "I'm not going to think about it for now. I'll worry about it if and when it comes up. Good plan?"

"Sounds like a plan," Bel agreed. "Who knows, it may not be offered next session at all."

"Right. Or there may be tons of other stuff offered that I'd prefer - like there were this term."

"Just what did you end up taking?" Bel asked, then added sheepishly, "If you already told me, I've forgotten."

"It's all right," Lana said, "I have no idea who I've told what to. I'm taking Scoobying, Astronomy, Nature Magic and Yogalaties. You are taking Flying and...?"

"Leadership, archery, and photography," Bel said. "They're okay I guess."

"A brave man," Lana said. "I'd be too afraid of Callisto and the ninja to take their classes."

"Callisto's teaching Wilderness Survival," Bel said. "This one is 'Leadership and Outdoorsmanship,' and is taught by some chick named Admiral Harrington. They're kinda similar I guess."

Harrington. Still... ninja... so brave."

"I've heard she's tough," Bel said. "Guess I'll see for myself."
