Koala Campfire, Morning

Bel found himself waking up early Monday morning because his mun had to work for some reason. He couldn't fall back asleep, so he slipped out of bed without disturbing Phoebe, got dressed, and went outside. The camp was pretty quiet so far. He settled in front of the charred remains of the Koala firepit and waited to see who might be awake and passing by.

"Demons are pretty impatient in general," Bel said. "They just want to get down to business, take things fast instead of slow."

"Well, then, I guess it makes sense that you take your coffee strong and black," Veronica said, because, yes, she decided to make sure they really were still talking about coffee.

"And we've come full circle," Bel said with a chuckle. Coffee. Right.

Veronica held her mug up in a mock toast. "Thanks, by the way. I wasn't planning to be out this long and didn't start a pot back in my cabin."

"Any time," Bel said. "Not a problem at all."

She drained the mug. "I suppose I should be getting back now," she said. "I have a few things to take care of today. What do you want me to do with this?"

"I'll take care of it," Bel said with a wave of his hand. "Just set it down anywhere."

Veronica did as instructed. "Thanks again for the coffee. I'll talk to you later."

"Later," Bel said. "See you Wednesday at least."

"Yep, can't wait to see what pictures you came up with."

Bel made a mental note to get out today and take more pictures.
