Jaye is back from town, and she comes bearing supplies. Supplies meaning booze. Because if there's going to be girlkissy without a bottle involved (not dirty), there has to be booze.

But, it's all for a good cause. Yay boykissy.

Maybe she should have told the boys about this. Alas. She might at least give them warning about the cameras.

"But then you'd be in pieces, and we wouldn't want that." Sam bit her lip, then said, "but if you ever donate yourself to science, I have people you should contact."

"Um. Wasn't talking autopsy," she says. "More like headshrinky. I can do headshrinky."

"Ah," Sam shrugged. "Oops. But better you than me in with the headshrinker."

"Eh. Not so much. Tried it once. Stole a bookend, then kinda refused to go back," she says.

"Stole a bookend?" Talking to Jaye very often made Sam feel like she'd missed an important memo. This was one of those times.

"There was a thing," she says. "Apparently? Very important that I steal the damn thing. I still have it."

"Why? I mean, why was it important? And, now that I think about it, why did you keep it?"

"It told me to?"

Sam blinked. "I'm sorry?"

She shrugs, suddenly feeling self-conscious. "I said it was a thing."

"That's quite a thing," Sam said, wondering if it was worth talking to Doctor Pevensie about, "Was there a reason you were, er, told to take it?"

"Kinda? But it's a really really long story," she says. "No big deal. Just a thing."

"I don't mind really, really long stories," Sam said, "If you ever want to tell it. I'll even buy the alcohol."

Jaye's actually kinda surprised someone didn't answer with Hahahaha. "Yeah," she says. "Alcohol is so good."

"Isn't it?" She raised her glass in a toast. "But I think I got enough kissing in yesterday."

"Uh huh," Jaye grins. "Bad girl, you." Like she has any reason to talk.

"Not bad," Sam grinned back. "Just impulsive."

"Nothing wrong with that," she agrees.

"Yeah, I'm just new at it," Sam explained, though she decided not to explain how Jack was teaching her, because, well, that was weird if you weren't her or Jack.

"Seriously?" she asks.

"Oh yeah," Sam finished off her drink, "I'm your original plan it girl. Impulse scares me."

Jaye gets her another drink. "Why?" she asks, handing it over.

Sam took it. "Because I don't know what's going to happen. I can't prepare for it, so bad things can happen because I'm not ready."

"Um, hi. Have we met? Sam Carter, control freak."

"Good to meet you," she says. "What about in like, a controlled environment. You know, friends who can watch out while you get to do something stupid?"
