Seahorse common room, Monday night

Jaye is back from town, and she comes bearing supplies. Supplies meaning booze. Because if there's going to be girlkissy without a bottle involved (not dirty), there has to be booze.

But, it's all for a good cause. Yay boykissy.

Maybe she should have told the boys about this. Alas. She might at least give them warning about the cameras.

"Yes," Anakin answered.

"You need to kiss a boy," she told him. "Pick one."

Anakin closed his eyes and pointed.

Then opened them.

"Sithspit. Looks like it's, um, Sam. Who dates Molly and looks like your exboyfriend."

He looked around for more alcohol. "This won't be awkward."

Sam had opened his eyes now that Alec and Dean seemed to be done, and found himself being pointed at by the same guy who had threatened him. Fantastic.

"Um. Maybe this isn't such a good idea?"

Anakin had had a lot of vodka. So he was feeling incredibly mature.

"Are you chicken?"

See?

"What? No, I'm not chicken," Sam replied, sounding a little offended.

"Am I not pretty enough or something?" Anakin actually sounded offended.

Sam actually had to stop for a second while he tried to figure out how placating he wanted to be.

"No, that's not it. You're very pretty. Or um, you know, handsome," he said quickly. "But you should probably know that I've never kissed a guy before."

"It's not that different," Anakin said, blissfully unaware of the oversharing. "It's not like you have a mustache or beard or something that makes it all scratchy and stuff."

He walked--okay, teetered--his way across the room. "You just hold on like so," he said, reaching around to cup Sam's head, "tilt your head, and go."

Mentioning that he didn't have much experience with girls either became kind of secondary to dealing with the fact that Anakin was suddenly right there in front of him, touching him.

"That, uh...doesn't sound so hard," he said nervously, reaching around to put his hand on Anakin's head in return.

"It's not," Anakin assured him. "Oh, and if you touch the braid, I have to kill you."

He gave Sam a bright smile. "Ready?"

"Um. Sure." Sam moved his hand as far from the braid as he could and leaned in, kissing Anakin carefully.

Anakin was never happy being second-best at anything.

You know, ever.

Kissing was no exception.

Thus the demonstration he was giving for the room.

Sam figured it would be best to start out just following Anakin's lead. But he wasn't very happy being second-best either, and it was starting to show in his response.

Anakin wasn't about to be outkissed by some guy wearing Rory's ex-boyfriend's face.

So now there was nipping. And possibly some tongue.

All in a strictly competitive spirit, of course.

Sam was all about the competitive spirit. And focusing on nipping back at Anakin's lips really helped take his mind off of the fact that the tongue action felt kind of nice.

Anakin finally broke away.

Not that this in any way indicated that he was saying that Sam was the better kisser.

At all.

Making that clear.

"Not bad for a first try," he said with a grin.

Sam was surprised by how much he felt like he had to catch his breath. Not that he was going to admit that he liked that. Not at all.

"Thanks. That was...helpful," he replied before giving Anakin a little smile and fleeing away.
