Camp Gym - Wednesday Evening

Just because he'd had a karate workshop earlier didn't mean that Peter had trained enough for the day.

He stretched out then attacked the heavy bag like it had insulted his sister.  This was Fandom after all, and one never knew when that might actually happen.

Pippi flounced into the gym and snagged herself a jumprope.

"Evening Sir Peter." she said bobbing a curtsey.

Peter bowed back to Pippi, "and a good evening to you, Your Highness."

"I hope the ferocity with which you attack that bag is a reflection to the intensity of your focus and not of how your day has gone."

"Sometimes it's better to hit the bag than a person, hmm?" Peter said, then he grinned a bit doofily, "though I can't complain too much about my day. How has yours been."

"It's my rule of thumb to do so, unless one is fighting for life and limb o'course." Pippi smiled at the doofy grin, wondering who it was for. "Less exciting then the day before, but pretty good."

"I can't argue with that," Peter replied. "Not one bit. So what happened yesterday then?"

"Spelunking!" she said skipping rope.

"Spelunking? Where are there caves?"

"Well this one was in the preserve but it sorta collapsed. Or will once we actually finish that thread with OMG EXTREME SLOW PLAY..." Pippi explained. "But there's lots of little nooks and crannies in the cliffs and beaches alone the sea. At least, that's what it looks like from the water."

Dawn entered the gym, waved to Pippi, and glared at Peter, just on principle. "Stickbug."

She began stretching, then went over to the swords and selected one and began doing the same stretching movements, but holding the sword and making it part of the routine.

"I was walking along the beach a bit myself yesterday, though that beach ran more to groves of trees than nooks and crannies," Peter said. "Did you find any buried treasure in your caves or have you given up pirating while you're here?"

Peter bowed to Dawn as she came in. "My lady Meerkat."

"Want to go a few rounds?" She asked, swinging the sword lazily.

Peter grinned. "With certainty." He left the bag to find a balanced practice sword. Saluting Dawn with it, he moved onto the mats.

"We found a few bibs and bobs while we wandered our way through. They were mostly just laying around though, nothing really burried." she explained. "And there really hasn't been much in the way of piratical oppertunities of late. But you know the old saying? 'You can take the girl out of the pirate but you can't... Make her drink... Or something like that."

She saluted back and took her place opposite him, balancing on the balls of her feet as she wrapped her right hand firmly along the hilt.

"So, where'd you learn to swing a sword?"

"Take the pirate out of the girl? DIRTY!. It's too bad no piratical opportunities, but I suppose the school would frown on that type of activity, hmm?"

"It rather goes with the territory," Peter said with a grin. "I'm a knight." He began circling a bit, staying fully balanced, but from all looks was waiting for Dawn to attack him. "What about you?"

Alanna came into the gym in a generally good mood. Which is why she went to stretch out first.

Pippi waved back at Dawn.

"Hi!"

Peter bowed to Alanna as she came in.

"Hi!" She blushed for a minute, then decided to go with it. "I'm Dawn and I can't remember whether we've met, and I'm really embarrassed about it."

"You said it Sir Peter, not me. That would be a danger I suppose yes. But I've guessed that as long as I keep piratical operations off campus and keep my grades up I would be fine."

Oh, it just figured. Dawn circled back away from Peter, waiting to see how he moved before she attacked. "My sister taught me, but I had to learn a lot on my own."

Yeah, this wasn't one of her better ideas.

Pippi thought about it.

"I don't remember either, so we can be embarrassed together!" she said smiling. "I'm Pippi, Pippi Longstocking. I'm a Sophomore, I'm from Sweden. I was raised on a Pirate ship by my Papa. And I normally live on the 5th floor of the doorms but I'm in the Squirrel cabin just now."
