Stickbug Common Room, Thursday evening

Peter had already packed for the weekend and was currently avoiding the annoying gnomes by staying on the ceiling. He was currently taunting them.

"Yeah, little guys. I'm up here, you're down there, you can't reach me. How do you like that, huh? Huh?"

He had been doing this for ten minutes and he wasn't sick of it yet.

Jamie had given up a long time ago and was just letting the gnomes smack him upside the head repeatedly.

He was also tired of hearing Peter taunt them as well.

"I don't think they really care Peter."

"But I care. I care deeply," Peter said. "I care that these little jerks can't reach!"

"Can't you just web them up or something?" Jamie asks. "You can catch waterfowl like flies."

Tyler guffawed at Jamie's gnomes. "Dude, yours are hitting you."

Jamie takes a swig from his soda. "Yeah. They seem to enjoy it. It's the-"

Jamie screams as the gnome yanks his hair.

"-hair pulling that's really annoying."

Peter came into the Common Room out of the rain. His shadow gnome Barney was clinging tightly to his shoulders. Pushing some of the others off a couch, he sat down. Wet and annoyed by the cuddly monsters.

He looked up at the ceiling. "I think I hate you for being able to get away from them right now."

"Hey, don't hate me too much. I'm going to have a big headache from being upside down this long," Peter said.

"Don't hate him because he can hang from the ceiling. Hate him for taunting us that he can hang from the ceiling."

Tyler ambled in, impeded by a gnome who was clinging to his shoulder like a small, bearded kitten.

"Hi, Peter," he said, leaning his head back. "Is that a superhero thing?"

Peter waved to Tyler from his place on the couch. "Have you named yours yet?"

"Yep. Best power ever as of today," Peter said. "So. Revenge. It must be had."

Cordelia was wandering around camp looking for something interesting to do. She had been dipping into the tequila Logan had left her quite a bit, and found herself banging on the door to the Stickbug Cabin.

"Hello?" she yelled. "Who's in there? I'm bored!"

"You probably don't want in here, we have gnomes," Peter called out. "But it's open if you want to get out of the rain despite the gnomes."

He wasn't leaving the ceiling.

Tyler saw a girl and shoved the pheromone-soaked handkerchief at her. "What do you think of when you smell this?" he demanded.

"Evening, Cordelia," Peter said. He couldn't stand up without displacing several gnomes so he bowed from his seat.

"Hi. I'm Jamie," he said as he motioned to the gnomes who were smacking his head. "This is Huey, Duey and Louie. They'll be my torturers this evening. And you are?"

After leaving Seahorse and stopping back at Meerkat, Rory wandered into Stickbug, carrying a large, decorative bag with ribbons and tissue paper poking out of it.

"Hi Stickbugs. I come in peace, for I merely am bringing something for Peter to give to Zero," she called.

"Peaceful exchange, yes," Peter said, walking over, still on the ceiling. "What is it?"

Xander knocked on the front door to Stickbug Cabin, the one that led to the common room, because he had a theory. It wasn't a very good theory, but hey, he was a wet, annoyed guy with a wet, annoyed ferret on his shoulder. Those weren't the optimal conditions for theorizing.

"Bug-people? Please tell me you're all ferret-people now, so I can at least have somebody concrete to be pissed at?"

"Still a Stickbug," Peter replied with a wave. "Stickbug with an rather annoying gnome friend though."

"Definitely not a ferret," Tyler agreed, crading his gnome. "Also, not made of concrete."

"Hey," Parker greeted him as she came in. "Are you here in some faux-counselor helpful capacity, or are you just being gobsmacked like me?"

Parker knocked on the door. "Peter Parker Postal Service to Flange? I've got a package for your girlfriend. If you guys are up?"

Peter half-bowed to Parker. He couldn't bow all the way because there was a gnome curled up in his lap. "We're definitely still up, Yankee."

Peter wandered back into the common room after fighting off some gnomes to get Rory's presents packed - he was back on the ceiling, of course - when he saw Parker. "Oh, hey! I take it those are Zero's presents over there?"
