Outside Meerkat cabin, morning (before classes)

Buffy was sitting by the camp fire, absently doodling hearts in her notebook while thinking things over. Later she would go shopping for a nice pretty mobile with Alec, but right now she was thinking serious thoughts.

Hopefully she wouldn't be stuck with them all day.

She was definitely disturbable.

Jaye's up before classes, so she figures she might as well stop by. New BFF, and all. "Hey," she greets her.

"Morning," Buffy waved. "Come sit? I heard you on the radio. Was... interesting."

Finishing his walk around the campsite, Sam made his way past the Meerkat cabin, and smiled when he saw Buffy. "Hey, good morning," he called.

After the fun with the french maid outfit last night, Nadia was up early and feeling pretty good as she wandered about. She spotted Buffy and decided to go congratulate a Meerkat for a gnome-job well done.

"Hi."

She takes a seat next to her, shrugging. "Yeah, that was my boss. Sometimes. He going points for snark, which is good since I never get paid." Notice she says nothing about wanting to work.

Buffy brightened. "Hey Sam! How're you?"

"Awake far earlier than I should be, considering I have no workshops today." He laughed. "How are you?"

Zack damply emerged from the cabin. "Either the Stickbugs have been at the pipes again, or all the hot water's been used up."

"Hi!" Buffy looked up and grinned. "No Russian today?"

"Your boss is weird. And how does the radio know I got brokenated?" Buffy looked puzzled.

"We have our ways," she says. "Or, whoever or whatever gets the notes to us has their ways. No idea. Are you less brokenated now?"

Nadia sighed. "If all goes well, no 'Russian' ever again."

Buffy looked faintly guilty, but she covered it by smiling brightly. "I bet it was the evil Stickbugs! 'cause they're evil."

"Better now," Buffy smiled. What she was implying wasn't really that hard to figure out. "A little confused, maybe."

"Not sure. ...Do you have a sister?" Buffy asked abruptly.

Buffy snickered. "Was that another weird Fandom thing?"

Nadia nodded, rolling her eyes. "Yeah. We ran into some weird people in the woods, literally, and then Walter and I thought we were Russian spies looking for some weird rock for most of the next day."

"Uh huh. Brother, too. I'm the only normal one in the family," says Jaye, who really should think before she speaks, because that's such a lie.

Sam may have been oblivious to a lot with girls, but even he wasn't that blind, and he felt himself start to grin. "Confused about what?"

Buffy nodded, totally believing her. "I don't have one, except now I sort of do, It's weird."

"I hope you weren't counting on a hot shower then," Zack said as he started toweling his hair off.

She blinks. "Yeah, sounds like it. What, like one of those psuedo-sibling things that happen?"

"You know how you said Dawn was my sister and I said no? Well, I was wrong. She is my sister." She looked liek her head hurt. "Except not mine. But another mes." A related thing occoured to her. "I don't think Dean wants to be my brother."

"It's happened to other people too? Is there a support group?"

"Well, I'm talking more about 'we're really close, now I'm going to call you my sibling even though we're not related,'" she says. "I don't think they need support groups for that."
