Fifth Floor Common Room - Monday Evening

Marie had spent the day doing a whole lot of nothing and decided to head down to the common room to see if anyone was around to hang out with in the evening.

She flopped down on the couch, legs tucked under her, and started flipping channels, wondering if there was anything good on TV.

Kaylee wandered into the fifth floor common room and waved. "Hey Marie!"

"Kaylee!" Marie exclaimed. "How was your date?" she asked, practically bouncing on the couch. "Sit down and tell me all about it!"

Kaylee grinned at Marie, sitting next to her on the couch. "It was real nice. We went to Serenity Cove."

"Where's that?" Marie asked. "What did you guys do?"

"It's a spot on the beach. It's pretty," Kaylee said. "We had a picnic. There was wine. It was fun, and he asked me out again. Guess that means it went well."

"That's so exciting!" Marie said. "I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks, I'm happy for me, too," Kaylee said. She peered at Marie. "There anyone you got your eye on?"

Marie shrugged and looked away. "I dunno, maybe," she said. "But I think he likes someone else. It's no big deal."

"Really, it's okay," Marie said with a little smile. "There are plenty of boys here. I'm sure eventually I'll find one I like that likes me too."
