Fifth Floor Common Room - Monday Evening

Marie had spent the day doing a whole lot of nothing and decided to head down to the common room to see if anyone was around to hang out with in the evening.

She flopped down on the couch, legs tucked under her, and started flipping channels, wondering if there was anything good on TV.

Marie nods. "Yeah, I haven't really talked to you lately. I liked the cabins, but it's nice having some privacy again. Plus the common rooms are comfortable," she adds with a grin. "The campfires were nice though."

"Yeah I liked the campfires too. They were cozy, chatty and frequently had marshmallows. However here we have couches and that totally negates the marshmallow factor," Jamie said in a mock serious tone. "So was the lack of privacy a problem for you?"

"Well, we could have marshmellows in the common room," Marie pointed out. "We just couldn't toast them. Oh! Unless Bel was here."

She shrugged. "Not a problem really. But I'm not used to sharing my living space with so many people. It got really overwhelming sometimes, even though my cabin-mates were pretty quiet."

"Yeah, nothing worse than trying to get to sleep while your roomies are running around and being silly. Granted I usually joined them but I get the whole not used to sharing thing."

Marie laughed. "My roommates weren't like that," she said. "I just felt... I don't know what the right word is... exposed, maybe?"

"You exposed yourself to your roommates?" Jamie said looking disappointed. "Man. I was definitely in the wrong cabin."

Cue serious blushing on Marie's part.

"That's... not what I meant," she stammered.

"Oh? What did you mean?" Jamie said with small grin.
